you know before I started Sailor Moon and knew basically nothing about it, I knew about Uranus and Neptune and I knew the cousin jokes and I knew the show was gay because of them and all
what I didn't know is that it was also gay because of the *motions broadly at the rest of the show*
#like there's queer coding and subtext throughout and that's one thing#but I wasn't expecting the amount of outright queerness in the show#i remember getting to Zoisite in season one and being like 'wait fr?'#I didn't know about Zoisite or Fish Eye or the fucking SAILOR STARLIGHTS#or like the sheer number of episodes there were dedicated to the girlies catching gay feelings#tbf with the Starlights I didn't know about them going into the show#but I found out about them before I got to their season#sailor moon
