You know what’s absolutely hilarious to me when I think about the ships in Fairytale Ending? I always think of that saying about how communication is essential in relationships (along with trust), and like, clearly the Mikaelsons have not heard of this saying

Communication and trust are only essential in real life; in fact, I would actually argue that lack of communication and active, seething distrust are sooo much better for fictional relationships.

#look on a tangent the fact that spuffy goes from no communication and seething distrust to like #knowing and trusting the other more than anyone else ever possibly could is part of what makes that ship just consume my soul okay #it has all of the dark vibes but it also gets so intense and intimate #anyway #I don't know that Elena is ever going to trust Klaus after the exile or can ever REALLY bring herself to trust Rebekah #she definitely trusts/trusted tyler #maybe deep down she trusts stefan as well #and the hilarious thing is I think they all think they're GREAT at communicating #it's just that they mostly want to communicate lies #fairytale ending #anonymous
