You had arrived in Teyvat for a few days now, and let's say you were both thrilled and overwhelmed. You knew absolutely everything about this world, and you wanted to see all it had to offer with your own eyes, and everyone here put you on pedestal, as their all knowing, most powerful Deity and yet, it was like you had no control over what was happening, in one day, from a simple person to a God thrown into a fantasy world full of attractive people with cool powers, and somehow you were above them or at least were told to be.
But your Acolytes were here to help, they took things slow and tried to make things more clearer for you. The situation was a bit complicated, since you had memory loss and you were as fragile as a normal human being, which wasn't expected at all, but they promised they would do everything to keep you safe and comfortable.
"I think we pretty much said all. Thank you for coming, Y/n."
"Of course, Jean. But it seems like it took longer than expected." You glanced at the window, the mix between bright yellow and mellow orange painted the sky, and the sun saying goodbye before dropping, too exhausted, just like the one looking at it. "I'm sorry that we finished late because of my questions." You pursed your lips, feeling apologetic for taking the time of the already extremely busy Acting Grand Master, knowing she wouldn't stop working at the expense of sleeping.
She shook her head. "Don't be troubled, no time is wasted when it comes to you. But I am a bit worried about your well-being, you seem tired. Do you perhaps need help to go back home?" She frowned in sorry as she noticed small tears coming out of your weary eyes, without their usual twinkle, as you yawned, noticing that your lips seemed dried and lose a bit of its natural color, she should have pursue the meeting another day, she thought.
"I'll be alright, I just feel sleepy that's all. And I already have a few persons to escort me, but thanks for the offer." You gave her a small smile and she offered one back a bit hesitant. "I'll visit you tomorrow, just in case."
You rolled your eyes and playfully smiled at her. "Sure, if you want to."
The very next day, near noon, Jean came just like she promised, with Albedo to her side, she managed to see him before he went back to Dragonspine, sharing her worries with him about your condition of yesterday. He proposed to go with her as he wanted to see your state and if he could do anything. Jean stood up at the door of your bedroom and knocked.
"Y/n? It's Jean, I said I would visit you. May I enter?"
"Hi!" Your voice beamed but got quickly caught up by a cough. "Please enter." You said in a weaker voice. Jean and Albedo looked at each other before entering. They saw you in your bed, fully covered by two blankets, surrounded by many used tissues.
"It seems I was correct, something is wrong with them. Sigh. Y/n, I took Albedo with me. Are you alright?"
"Hi, 'bedo." You said as you took off the blankets, grinning at him. He smiled at the cute sight of your bed hair and sleepy but dazzling face.
"I just feel a bit sick, that's cough cough all." You responded to Jean.
"We have been told you didn't eat at all since yesterday's morning. Is it because you feel too sick?" Her eyebrows furrowed and hand on her chin.
"Actually, I just don't feel hungry, even if my stomach hurts, I feel like I'm full already." You laid down on the pillow, holding loosely your belly in case another wave of pain came again.
"May I do a few checks up?" Albedo asked out of the blue. It could be just a cold, but something wasn't normal with how much symptoms you had. He mostly wanted to see if he could do something to help your condition. You gave a small nod, letting him knelt next to your bed.
"Alright, I'll go see if Barbara can come too."
"There's no need to call for everyone, Jean." You quickly added but coughed just after.
"Please, let us look out after you. I know you don't particularly like being treated with privileges, but we want all the best, everyone cares for you and not just as our God. Your state is in fact worrying. So allow me to call for Barbara and see if she can do anything."
"Ok." You said in defeat, you thought it was no use to argue with the Acting Grand Master. And you had to admit, your favorite characters taking care of you was like a dream come true.
After Jean left, Albedo started to check on you and asked a few questions. While he seemed deep in thought, focused on his task, you were a bit embarrassed on how close his face was and the way he ran his fingers softly, examining your body. You stayed still to his touch, in fear to distrusting his work, every question he asked got you avoiding his gaze, trying to make a comprehensible answer. Why did he have to be so hands-
"Achoo, sorry."
"Hm, that's okay. Here." He took a tissue and handed it to you. Hands brushing when you took it, making you even more awkward.
"Your face is red, are you okay?" He put his hand on your forehead to see if you had any fever, while you were melting under his touch.
After some minutes of trying to survive Albedo's tests and questions, Jean finally arrived with Barbara, who bowed at your presence, she was always acting shy when with you and so polite, but on the inside she was dancing with joy to finally meet her God, who she dedicated her life to. She felt like her fans when they met their idol.
"Hello, Your Grace...I was told of your illness, and how much you seemed to suffer, it makes me so sad to know that, I promise that I'll try my best to heal you." She stuttered a bit at the beginning, but said the last part with determination.
You thanked her with compliments about her kindness, which made her blush.
As she was using her magic in trying to heal you, Albedo was trying to make a conclusion with the tests he did while watching Barbara to see any results. But nothing was changing, you were still feeling as sick.
"I'm sorry, Your Grace. I-I don't know why...why it's not working."
"That's fine Barbara, it seems to be beyond any magic." Jean tried to reassure her. "Albedo, did you draw any conclusion?"
"I do have a supposition to why Y/n isn't hungry but still feel pain." He looked up from his notes and turned to you. "I think you're used to how the time passed in your past life, which is significantly longer than ours, it doesn't make you hungry since your body feels like it ate a few minutes ago. But at the same time.." He looked down, thinking about his next words. "But you're slowly getting used to Teyvat's time, which makes your stomach in pain, because you didn't eat for a long time. The others symptoms may come from traveling into an other world with different conditions than the last one, and it can explain why Barbara's powers doesn't work. I'll ask The Traveler since they have more knowledge on it."
"So you mean I have to wait 'til I get used to this world?" You wanted to let out a sigh but sneezed again.
For the next days, you were stuck in your bedroom, with great regrets to not be able to go outside, but no worries, your Acolytes were here to make it better.
When Venti learned about your illness, he immediately rushed to you, his heart arching. He was extremely worried, after all, he didn't want to loose you, just the thought gave him a heartache, he had waited centuries, years of worship and dedication, after your sudden arrival, he didn't meet the God he thought he knew everything about, but instead a friendly person that seemed so sincere and pure, who would rather enjoying what the world had to offer and live with its people, than trying to ruling them. He worshipped the God above him, but fell in love with you, many of the persons he loved made his immortality a curse he couldn't run from, he prayed you wouldn't be another one.
Even when we told him it wasn't something deadly, seeing you like this, bedridden when you wanted to visit Teyvat but in a too poor condition to do so, broke his heart. His poor God, stucked in a bed without any freedom, having to bear all the pain. He frequently visited you, even twice in the same day, constantly wanting to check on your health, always with an apple he gained from his performances just for you. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away!"
He would still act optimistic, as he wanted to keep your moral up through this awful situation, he could talk endlessly without you getting bored, he got plenty of funny stories about the others Archons! It became his mission in making you laughed, the sweet melody coming out of your mouth was worth everything for him, especially when you felt sick like this. If he noticed that you were really tired, he would take out his lyre, and play something slow and beautiful. The Bard's lullaby was working like a cure for your headache, and each notes made it harder to keep your eyes opened, he wouldn't stop until you fell asleep, even if you tried to fight it you couldn't resist, losing consciousness only following the soft tune into the path of dreams.
"Your Grace, you should sleep, it will ease the pain." Jean prefered you like this, peaceful without having to worry. She mainly did all the work so you didn't have to bother with it, just needed your opinions from time to time, she would double her duties if it meant keeping you safe and comfortable. But now, she couldn't do much than wait, nothing she could help than just wait... And just like you were kept in bed when you wanted to go outside, she was in her office when she wanted to check on you, but she was no use there, the only thing that could ease her mind was to ask others on how you felt. She wasn't sure what she would do if she visited you, but she knows she just needed to be close to you again, the presence she had been blessed with brought her comfort, and having you here physically was no different. Even if you were a God, her relationship with you felt deeper, not only you were the God that she could turn to when in search for guidance but a person she could put her head on in moments of doubt.
But right now, she was more useful there, and could only hope that you got better.
Jean always sent Kaeya to check on you and give her any news. Not like he complained, if his job was to visit you everyday, he would gladly work even without any payment.
You could count on him to forgot that you were even sick, he was so natural to talk with, you were both going with the flow of the conversation, even forgetting he was supposed to leave at some point, to the great regret of both of you.
Kaeya sometimes brought something, could be anything from a random plushie he saw, saying it reminded him of you because of your cuteness, to a book he borrowed from Lisa, knowing it must be so boring to stay there waiting for someone to come. He was such a big tease, why needing a blanket when you could have his fluffy coat, or you know, him, don't worry his vision wouldn't affect you.
Each time, Albedo had to interrupt a visit for a sort of consultation, to see if your illness evolved or not. He knew that his visits weren't the most exciting, as they were long and repetitive, and he saw how awkward you acted around him, so when he could, he took Klee with him as you looked like to appreciate each other, she was the one entertaining you when Albedo had to do his usual check up, she also liked sharing her drawing.
"Look, here is you, here is me, and here is big bro, holding hands with each other." She bounced on her boots, presenting her art, while you and Albedo were blushing as she acted like presenting her drawing to her two parents.
Even if he wished it wasn't when you were in pain, he appreciated those moments, your company was enjoyable, even sick you were amusing to talk with and he found your kindness adorable.
"Thank you, 'bedo. But you really don't have to do all of that for me." You said, even if you loved his company, and wished he stayed longer.
"It's my way to show gratitude for taking me during your adventures and helping me for my research." He said as he placed the hair hiding a bit your face behind your ears.

"Y/n, your hot cheeks are really concerning, I might need to do a few more tests."
