When the outbreak first hit, Sol was busy working long hours at Beech Fork State Park near the KyOVa tristate border. He was brought on as night security, but understaffed as they were, he moved to maintenance right away.

Good thing, too: the place was too pretty not to see in the daylight. No great big waterfalls or flashy garden installations. Just lots of what felt like the world untouched. And sue him for being a sap, but he never got tired of hearing kids by the lake yelling out in their twangy accents, “I caught one!”
