my contribution to talk about totk shrines is that they straight up nailed the difficulty sweet spot for me. I haven’t had to look up a single solution (I had to look up like every botw shrine lmao) but I rarely find them easy, and so often my reaction is “oh that’s so silly and clever!!” when I figure it out. all the tools at your disposal make it so you can basically cheese your way out of anything, but taking the time to figure out the “intended” solution is still more fun and challenging. i really love it.
