By pure coincidence, I just so happened to check in on my copy of Y on X and Y's tenth anniversary 😭
Happy 10 years, X and Y 🎉🎉🎉
#I didn't even know it was the 10th anniversary#I knew it was October but not the exact date#I just did a system transfer to a 3DS XL after my original 3DS's battery has been screwed up since like 2017#Should have done that years ago lol#But yeah I just booted up Y to test that games are working fine#I'm always paranoid that I'll lose my save data somehow 😆#The one day I play Y and it's the 10th anniversary#I hadn't played it since 2018#I did loads of shiny hunting in this game#This was the first gen where I was on the internet to see the hype leading up to it#Good memories 😌#Now I'm gonna resume my Crystal shiny Celebi hunt that I gave up years ago before Pokémon Bank goes down at some point next year probably 😎#letsa go#pokémon x and y#pokemon x and y#pokemon xy
