sometimes I just lay in bed and think back to just how practically everyone in my secondary school got fucked over mentally hy it being a grammar school
I got good grades most of us did in the GCSE and a level, but at what cost. The cost of our sanctity of mind.
#A 7. What is equivalent to a A- to B+ Was frowned upon#Every exam there was at least 6 kids who had a mental breakdown but still continued the exam#Like in class too#Wr were constantly made to do work a year ahead of what we should have been doing. And the teachers seemed proud of that#Idk i might have also been at a disadvantage because my primary school was shit and we never did anything useful for secondary#I just got punted into.it and asked to cope#I had never done science history or geography before year 7. And we were immediately punted into a year.8 standard#Almost everyone I know was broken by the grammar school system. Anxiety and a crippling fear if failure
