TRIFORCE TIME BABY!
I'm going in chronological order, and this is specifically the one for LU, since the Zelda One I still can't make work.
SkSw is self explanatory. Sky got to use the Triforce, and then put it back in the Sacred Realm, where it remains for a long time. He does not currently have the Triforce.
Four's time never saw the Triforce leave the Sacred Realm. The Light Force sounds close, but since it's within Zelda, I'm going to say it's the power of Hylia that remains since it's tied to her life force. He never had or used the Triforce.
Time also does not have the Triforce. In the child timeline it doesn't leave the Sacred Realm. He had the Triforce of Courage for a time, but does not anymore.
The Triforce both leaves the Sacred Realm and splits when they attempt to execute Ganondorf, and he summons the Triforce of Power,,, somehow. Twilight has, and always has had, the Triforce of Courage.
Next is the adult timeline. The Triforce of Courage was destroyed to send Time back in, well, time. It was presumably split into chest on the surface similar to the OG LoZ, but when it flooded they were left underwater. The Triforce of Wisdom was split between the King and his daughter Zelda when she fled so Ganondorf couldn't get it, and Ganondorf had the Triforce of Power. It was left at the bottom of the sea, and due to the nature of the wish will likely never be found. Wind had the Triforce of Courage for five seconds, but the Triforce is now gone from his world (but not destroyed, so they'll be fine).
Let's skip over Legend, the messy one, because Hyrule is straight forward. The Triforce was together, but was split to stop Ganon from getting the other pieces, like in WW. The Teiforce of Wisdom was split into 8 pieces, which Hyrule collected and then possessed. He took the Triforce of Power from Ganon (who had stolen it after being unsealed) when he defeated him. He fought through the Great Palace to prove himself a hero and get the Triforce of Courage. These were all trials put in place by the royal family, who previously had the entire Triforce. He didn't lose it after wishing on it, and currently possesses it. Btw, because he has the whole thing, the glowing mark doesn't show. It only does that when split. He does, however, have a mark of it on his hand regardless, that looks like a birthmark despite him not being born with it.(that part is canon)
Legend... Legend. This is where I throw canon out the window. Since it's the LU timeline, and Jojo's art shows legend being older during Koholint in 'Dream Girl', I' going to say that instead of the Hero of Legend games coming before the New Hero of Hyrule games, the opposite is true in the LU timeline, which fixes The Issues.
In the downfall timeline the Triforce is split, which is its state in ALBW. It is brought together, used, and sent to the Sacred Realm (which proves to be a mistake). Then TFH happens, and Legend goes back to Hyrule. In the events of ALttP, the Triforce is whole, and in the corrupted Sacred Realm. He saves it, and the Sacred Realm is presumably no longer around because it's never actually used again. Legend keeps it, since he has the whole thing through the whole Oracle games. There is no implication that he lost it to anyone who isn't reaching, I know, I tried. The Zelda wiki is just confused about how the Triforce works.
This would mean that he has the Triforce, it is whole, and it is outside of the Sacred Realm. When Legend dies (RIP), the Triforce will be protected by the Royal Family until the time Hyrule's from.
I know it's janky, but I hope it makes sense?
-Shylia (apparently)
the Legend part is blowing my 2 am brain. would explain a few things but also raises So Many Questions. i hate the triforce
