Sequel idea for @purble-turble ‘s fic Dark but not Dark - 

Since Red Son wasn’t there during the clone episode in season 1, he likely would have only heard about it from MK or Mei and may not know that MK’s clones actually look different from his normal self. 

So, what if Red met MK again by chance in the Anti-Gravity arcade, and MK, wanting to talk more with red after the events of the fic, tries to follow and corner Red in order to confront him. However, since Red has already convinced himself that MK doesn’t like him that way, he assumes it must be a party clone acting out and either tries running away, or tries to find ways to respectfully let the ‘clone’ MK down so as to not upset the original.

This could culminate in MK getting fed up and pulling Red away from the crowds in the arcade to talk to him by force (i.e. pinning him on the floor/wall, etc.), and forcing him to confront the events of the original fic.
