#I like Steve whump as much as the next girl but my god if this whump involves#Eddie being so incredibly cruel and Steve so utterly brokenly devastated#that I have to pause my reading and go check the tags to see if I missed any self harm or suicide related tags#it should take more than 3 weeks and a flubbed attempt at making cookie for Steve to start to forgive him#Eddie should be on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness#Robin should have broken several traffic laws rushing over to Kool Aid her way into the dorm pummel the asshole#before Steve even considers forgiving him#or atleast frame Steve forgiving Eddie so quickly as a bad thing#I like exploring Eddie’s hypocritical bully side but please take a note from Steve’s canon redemptive arc#don’t have him pull monsterous shit if you’re giving him an easy out#especially if this isn’t tagged dead dove or Dark Eddie
