#I love Noodle Fraggle

More old Fraggle art, this time the second of two monster transformations I've given Gobo over time, this one a naga form from RP shenanigans in an urban fantasy-type AU my partner and I shoved Fraggle Rock into.

Thanks to the magic in the setting he's able to transform back and forth at will, however this comes at a cost: the naga form bleeds backward into his regular Fraggle self. The changes are gradual but eventually he winds up with fangs, a split snake-like tongue, the occasional grouping of scales in his fur, and finally horns (which is the explanation for these pictures that I mentioned then ;P ). He's also far, FAR more sensitive to cold, but hey there's heightened senses now? ...And venom when in naga form, as it's based on a copperhead snake. Win some, lose some?

This whole thing is absolutely self-indulgence, but hey kill the part of you that cringes and all. I love drawing this stupid Fraggle noodle, and you can bet that now that I'm posting these there's gonna be more here in the future.

Ducktales (2017):

What can I say, I’m a sucker for some good family content. Besides the show being just a super fun time, I also respect the cast and crew for all the love they put into one single reboot!! I got into it two years ago and look forward to its future!!

Darkwing Duck:

SUCH a funny and goofy show!, it’s become one of my go-to’s!! The dynamics and relationships between the characters were really nicely done, and the concept of a regular dad by day, super hero by night trope is really fun to see!!

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic:

I am SUPER attached to this show. I got into it when I was 8 and have been a fan since. I made some good friends because of our mutual interest in the show. I’ve been currently rewatching the whole series, and it really is such an amazing show. Sure, it has its duds, but these colorful horses mean a lot to me yall.. and a certain chaotic noodle man..

Wander Over Yonder:

Oh Wander... how I miss you... seriously, this show was one of my favorites and actually got me and Grim closer. The animation and characters were so lovely, and it was sad to see it be swept under the rug. To me, it was something special, so.. Hate’s great, best villain.

Gravity Falls:

I remember first seeing the promos back in 2012!! I was really excited for really no apparent reason, most likely cause it was a new Disney cartoon lol. I actually watched new episodes with my parents a lot, including us sitting down and watching the series finale together, proceeded by my parents trying to comfort me, as I started crying even before Dipper and Mabel got on their bus home.

Phineas and Ferb:

When I was little, I had my own rues on what I was allowed to watch, and what I wasn’t allowed to watch. That being said, once Disney Junior went off, the Phineas and Ferb theme would start and I would scramble for the remote to change the channel, cause I thought I would get in trouble for watching it. Don’t ask me why, that’s just how I was. This was actually the first Disney Channel show I watched!! The humor is top notch and no matter how many times I watch an episode I still get excited to see what those brothers are gonna do today.

The Muppet Show:

WARNING: you have just entered the Muppet portion of this post... I love this show to pieces. even when you don’t know who the celebrity host is, it’s still always such a fun time!! My favorites are the first ep (I forgot the host), Elton John, and Julie Andrews.

Fraggle Rock:

I love all of Jim Henson’s works, and I really think Fraggle Rock is a fun and genuine show. The vibe it gives is just nice and peaceful, and has great songs!!

Green Eggs and Ham:

I tend to get into shows a while after they come out, so Green Eggs takes the place for the “viewed closest to its air date” award from me. I love the characters and its animation, and I realy feel like it’s one of the most genuine and best Dr. Seuss adaptations, which let’s be honest, don’t have the best run.. Even though it’s become a meme between me and some of my friends, I still really love it!!

Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared:

I’m not.. quite sure this one counts, but that’s not gonna stop me for talking about this series. I. Absolutley. Adore. This. Series. I found it when I was 12 and really just fell in love with it!! The amount of detail and work that goes in to just six episodes is unreal, and I usually go back around to watch it when I’m sad or feeling nostalgic. The atmosphere of it is pretty unique, cause you never really know what will happen (geez I need to stop quoting everything). It’s not afraid to get dark, and it’s humorous all the while!! 

uh yeah so.. this is already long enough, but I do have some honorable mentions!! Star Vs. the Forces of Evil, Steven Universe, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and The Good Place. and.. bye now

I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and awesome New Year as well. I know I had a wonderful Christmas.

On Thanksgiving Eve, I finished the final chapter of my book called Shadows of the Dark Crystal. The book was wonderful. I wanted to get all the Dark Crystal books because I love anything from the Jim Henson Company. I love all of the Jim Henson Company products because they bring me so much comfort. I got to watch The Jimmy Dean Show’s two Thanksgiving episodes during the month of November. I got to watch the second Jimmy Dean Show Thanksgiving episode for the first time that month.

Thanksgiving Day. I had my usual for Thanksgiving because I love potato filling and turkey so much. I watched the Thanksgiving parade on Thanksgiving morning and I got to see the Sesame Street float, which is always my favorite float. Ashley and Zach came over to have Thanksgiving dinner with us. It was a wonderful time filled with laughter and love. I watched The Muppet Christmas Carol multiple times as soon as I was done taking my shower.

Christmas Eve. I went to the Christmas Eve service. I cried the entire service because I felt agitated. After the Christmas Eve service I watched the movie called The Polar Express immediately after watching It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. We had popcorn and cheese balls during The Polar Express. After The Polar Express was over I watched the movie called The Muppet Christmas Carol on Disney XD. I loved watching it, and when it was over I went to sleep.

Christmas Day. We opened our Christmas presents at 10am that morning. BBB and Courtney came in from Wisconsin for Christmas. I got the books called The Muppet Christmas Carol: The Illustrated Holiday Classic, The Twelve Days of a Muppet Christmas, Kermit’s Christmas Tree, Elmo’s Merry Christmas, The NIght Before Christmas on Sesame Street, Flames of The Dark Crystal, and A Sweet Christmas on Sesame Street. I got the DVDs to A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa, Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas, and the Fraggle Rock DVD called A Merry Fraggle Holiday. I got a Muppet Christmas sweater which I wore on Christmas Day, a Muppet Kermit the Frog Christmas ornament, a pair of Sesame Street pajama pants, the DVDs to Sesame Street’s 50th Anniversary celebration and the Sesame Street Dance Party DVD, and I also got a Sesame Street tshirt. I got a puzzle of Times Square and some lottery tickets. I had a big Christmas breakfast. I also got a Walter plush, an Oscar the Grouch plush and a Bert plush. We didn’t have ham this time because the ham had been sold out.

New Year’s Eve. I had a bowl of noodles for supper. I watched the fireworks on my tablet that day. The fireworks were beautiful. I watched the ball drop on my local ABC station. 

New Year’s Day. We had pork and sauerkraut for lunch and dinner. I watched the Mummers Parade on TV and some Muppets/Henson Company movies on my tablet at the same time. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. It was amazing and a lot of fun.

Now I’m loved and experience a joy and trust that makes me smile 😊 - We all have highs and lows in life, some have more of one than the other. Battle tested I like to think. Still we’re all just trying to survive AND THRIVE.
