I was looking at an old post and a certain line still hits me so I decided to make it a dedicated comic.
#moomins#moominvalley#art#joxter#moomin joxter#the joxter#comic#I think there's something to be said about the fanon around 'Mumriks' and the accidentally reinvention of antisemitic/romani stereotypes#I may need to do more proper research both in those preexisting stereotypes and what some fans have made Joxter and Snufkin into#but I do think it would be a worthwhile examination of this accidentally phenomenon.#and I have to emphasize 'accidental' hear because I know most of the time people are just unconsciously recreating those stereotypes#because of fandom flanderization and thinking certain stuff would be Cool#just. idk I think it's an issue that needs to be examined more carefully when it comes to internalized biases and careless fanonization#here because*#I referenced my own hand for Joxter's paw btw that's why it's so. grossly detailed lmao
