The nickname ask got me curious: What nick names would the love interests give Romanus (if they are inclined to give them)?

Hadrian likes love or, more recently, angel.

Alessa's go-to is darling one/ dearest one.

Alain likes to call you sparrow and, intimately, little pup.

Ysabella likes a bunch 😄. I feel like she'll call you everything under the sun — whatever she's feeling at the moment. But her most common ones are darling, used casually and beloved, whispered by your ear.

The Pirate King will call you peach. Depending on your temper, he may call you treasure or thunder. Alone, in your shared quarters, he calls you… other names.

Neia uses sweetling freely but, the more you spend time together, you realize she uses it less and less with other women. Deep in the romance, Neia calls you 'sun'.

Lance calls you mercenary — my mercenary, to you and only you. He'll call you many names in his songs, but one he likes to trace with his fingertips on your skin is Starlight.

Rafael… Rafael's pet names will range from idiot to freak to company dog. Over time, they start to sound less like insults and more like endearments. His 'idiot' sounds completely different when said to you than anyone else.

Once Rafael's defenses come down, and he admits to himself he likes you, Rafael calls you idiot still — but it's my idiot now. My love, my man/woman. Just as he's wholly yours.

Lieutenant Vallen will call you 'mine'.
