Before she awakens from her ceremony, StarClan sends her a foreboding warning; a darkness is beginning to grow beneath the surface of the Clan

Hi! This is my ClanGen blog for my long-term save, MushroomClan. This Clan means a hell of a lot to me and although I never intended to make a blog out of it I just couldn’t resist. Please keep in mind that MushroomClan is currently over 150 moons old, meaning that I am well aware of the fates of these kitties and I can’t do much to change that!

Allow mass extinction events: ON

Allow unmated cats to have offspring: ON

Allow couples to birth kittens despite same-sex status: OFF*

┈┈ ・*Rest assured this is not on the ruleset for homo/transphobic reasons; the discord has good rules in place to prevent that. It's simply here because having this and unmated offspring enabled makes your Clan's population kind of explode, and this is meant to be somewhat difficult. We may be turning it on in the future, though. We'll see.

Your leader MUST be an elder. They are the "secret keeper" of the Clan.

Your "secret keeper apprentice" (deputy) can only be a young adult.

Your healer is now the "protector of the secrets". They cannot have kits, and must be a young adult or an adult.

❦ ┈┈ ・GAMEPLAY RULES

Every five moons, you must send a cat into the woods. You will do this by sending them on a patrol by themself. You must press "proceed" on this patrol no matter what.

If the nobody has died on a solo patrol for at least 10 moons, one of your cats vanishes. You can decide who, or a random number generator can. (I will probably alternate between the two depending on what makes sense.)

┈┈ ・Moon 0 will be a grace period; this keeps it to where cats are sent into the woods on moons ending in 5 and 0. It's nice and neat.

The secret keeper and their apprentice can never go on patrols.

Queens cannot go on patrol.

If a kit is born or brought into the clan, roll a d6.

┈┈ ・1-4: they survive. ┈┈ ・5-6: something miserable befalls them.

Once a kit reaches 6 moons, they must venture into the woods to prove their worth. You must press "proceed" no matter what.

Rogues, loners, and kittypets are allowed into the clan, but they will be the first cats chosen for the 5-moon patrol.

There can only be one protector of the secrets at a time. Once they die, choose a random young adult to take their place. If you have no young adults, you must wait until you do.
