hi. yes i came back for another yapping session, ironic.

i would like to express some of my feelings towards... some interesting things.

1. The Strade nazi drawing

i talked about his before, i am aware, but later (while reading other opinions as well) i got reminded about EP (Electricpuke for those who dont know him). did we all forgot HOW MANY nazi drawings he made? dont you believe that's an influence as well? if i remember correctly, Gato cut ties with him because of his abusive behaviour (there arent many people talking about this but some user are aware about his actions. sadly i wasnt in the community when that happened)

literally there are people calling Gato a nazi when she doesn't support the ideology. why did no one act the same with EP? different standards? the fact he left (probably) for good? still its not an excuse to call Gato a nazi. also she apologised multiple times. again MULTIPLE TIMES. even in the callout post in twt you can see the fact she IS sorry for drawing that. that she REGRETS it

2. The way others silence opinions that they dont like

im not saying you should be forced to agree with it, but when you make a callout account, normally, you let multiple people say their opinions over that thing. you can even show proof when you see someone is wrong. thats how argument work, crazy ik.

i start to see that if you defend Gato or just leave the community because the fandom its on thin ice, you'll be harassed and bullied for your choices. first of all, HOW ABOUT WE LEAVE PEOPLE THAT DONT WANT TO ASSOCIATE WITH BTD/TPOF ANYMORE ALONE. good? literally saw multiple users being harassed by this. its THEIR decision, suck it up. also can we stop SENDING DEATH THREATS???

or the fact that if you do have a point, they'll immediately cancel it with the "oh but its not important". it can be if you have some proofs for their misinformation (just like i proved the variety of poc characters Gato CREATED. didnt talk about Ren since he's another story)

3. Lack of proof for the side allegations.

if people noticed mods harassing people sm, why didnt they talk? why arent there ss of their conversations? we dont even know (most of us) what they even commented about (aside of Pussyspieler drawing). or the twt user that was wronged. that situation was like.. kind of a "im more autistic so you should shut up" (i have to add that i asked people on the spectrum about this and that was their point of view) of course the mod shouldn't have said it like that but.. its more of a misunderstanding really.. that doesnt mean you cant be upset. you absolutely can. everyone can react differently so dont harass them for feeling down or for being frustrated.

also the spanish (or mexican idk) users that just copied and translated @/renhanasgf posts with little to no new information. just the same thing. (although they said something of Gato not sending merch to latin America. probably because of the laws back then or the fact that the transport fee would be high af. im still searching for the reason tho so ill need some time for that one).

4. This fandom is messed up

people when fans of horror porn games are problematic 🤯. i agree that some people are being like extreme with their reactions, but no one is perfect here. just like i approached the situation completely wrong, they did the same. of course, now if you go around and be a racist piece of shit, you shoudl just stay off the internet for a while. luckily more approach the "like the art not the artist" thing.

look. you can always block users that you dont like (just like i do to those who are either into csam,thanks for telling me ab this term anon!, or incest). i know. shocking that people can block others.

after all these fandoms are not for the weak. there may be some safe spaces in it as well but... lets be real... its still going to be problematic. if you cant handle the community or how others act around here, then id suggest for you to not have a close interaction with others. like uhm, just, appreciate the content, not every person around here. just be aware of the users, stau safe okay?

5. Will i stop yapping?

not until i will see an agreement in the fandom. Gato is a human, of course she will do mistakes. especially if she's anxious or tired. having hundreds of people around you its hard and i can imagine it. having supoortive people only to wake up with people hating you. i hope she's safe and that she wont have to go to the hospital again. i pray for her well being, and to others that got spammed with those disgusting comments.

im not saying we should forget about this like.. her poor management and emotional way of responding to things, but is it truly worth it? to force a person to apologise just because they tried to fix things?

i also dont think ill stop because i just feel like im the only one that does talk here (trying to even prove wrong on some things). if others do it as well, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAG ME I WANNA SEE THEM😭 also because most people are still so confused about EVERYTHING. for some reason this drama its only getting more popular on tt for some reason.. which is a big no no since there are a lot of YOUNG people. i believe this should be talked here, and on twitter. (idk what to say about telegram)

gargano is going to be back in NYC for evolve next year and I am so torn

Tonight was the first NYC Evolve show I haven’t been to in over two years -- the first time I went was to see Johnny Gargano’s last show with the company in september of 2016 -- and I feel weird about it. Part of it has to do with the fact that I have done absolutely nothing today, but that’s an ongoing personal issue. It’s just very weird and a lil sad that Evolve is a part of my life that...is in the past.

I’m tempted to just give it a chance again -- just not buy front row and have a good time, not think too hard and just enjoy a night of the wrestles. After all, there are still people I like seeing there, and it’s a good time, and my refusal is more on principle.

But on the other hand, if I’m gonna pay money for a wrestling show where the card is more and more *shrug emoji* i might as well just pay more attention to the local wrestling scene; it’s better to just not know what the cards/plot is because i’ve never been than ‘welp, this promotion isn’t that great at plot and the cards get more and more haphazard’.

Plus, I’m still salty/borderline insulted (which I know is a bit Much, but still) by two things

Zack Sabre Jr not getting a real sendoff when he was an awesome champ for over a year and oh his last match was mania fucking weekend dude literally lost the title, had a match with munenori sawa, and then afterwards evolve posted a video on twitter where he was like ‘i gotta go love you all bye’. Even if they had found out that night that Zack was leaving, are you really telling me there wasn’t time for a post-match “hey everyone, i love you, but my visa is expiringit’s time for me to say goodbye”? pls

Making fucking Fabian Aichner champion. There’s an argument that Street Profits being tag champs isn’t so bad because Evolve just like...doesn’t actually have a tag scene and has rarely been interested in developing one, but fucking Aichner? Like, I have nothing against him, but it’s so clearly just stunt booking that spits in the face of their own talent and totally undermines the constant claim that Evolve is about ~making new stars~, And honestly I think it’s weird that they chose to bring Fabian Aichner of all people in for a title shot and not, let’s say, someone who actually has history with the company? Now they’re having Hero and Gargano back, but with the amount of former Evolve talent hanging around in NXT, it’s obnoxious that the dude with the belt has no real connection to the promotion at all. And unless Aichner has had some NXT storylines I don’t know about, it’s basically ‘omg here’s SOME GUY as champ! you shoudl be excited because he works for the BIG COMPANY!’

I know I said two things, but Gabe Sapolsky going full corporate bootlicker has been fucking tragic. He said on twitter at one point that people should appreciate and not be upset by NXT basically invading Evolve because these guys are “giving back” after they’ve made it to WWE. I don’t know about you, but the only times I’ve heard the phrase “giving back” are in reference to like, charity and helping disadvantaged people. So basically Gabe’s like “oh isn’t it wonderful that these big stars deigned to shine upon this needy little promotion?”

so yeah i guess i kinda reconvinced myself: fuck gabe and fuck evolve

let’s see how long it takes until they start saying there will be “big changes” and “a new evolve” again...

to just post long form free flow thoughts. 

you think you were over something, maybe have forgiven someone about it but then you read the post again and a flood of memories just come back. like exactly how you feel and you don’t feel okay. you’re hurt by what you read bc you know what’s how they still feel about you. that’s how they still see you. 

it stinks not to get recognized by all the work that you have done for them. for that one particular person and how much you have sacrificed for them. how you’re scared to really show them who you are or share things with them. just like little comments really doesn’t want me to help them or like makes me more willing to share things with them. and idk it just hurt. i just feel so hurt right now.

why is my first comment or train of thought to just end it. it’ll be so much easier, my ife would be better. I dont rely on anyone right now anyway, I don’t go to them for support I have friends to do that with so really why am i keepingthem around. bc i feel bad that they dont have anything? i htink that’s why....and like i already feel like i do so much that i just can’t also do the emotional part of it all. it just all feels so overwhelming like why do i need to provide for the financial and the emotional part now and like okay you were depressed but you didnt get any help and then your response is you dont have money 

well you apparenlty have burger money. and like delivery money. but you cant find a sliding scale therapy like. idk just shifted priorities and you just think a magic gadget or whatever new thing would fix it or whateber. i havent seen you take one picture with your camera that you got or the other one that you got like it doesnt make you better i can probably make better things take better phtos with a polaroid you just got to go and do it and not just blame you dont have the best material. like its just so...sad to me like thats just what you resort to. and maybe i can be more supportive but at the same time i just feel so supportive already like how is this even possible to be like this. 

and i guess i know that about myself like i think i’m over something but then i read it all over again and it hurts i think it hurts bc its not true. its not true and like i guess i personally know its not true but he just sees me being online as like...self obsessed. do you see how little i take selfies now how little i take pictures of food and how little i am on social media how little i post or do things that i like. liek it has drastically changed. 

and now im tearing up bc of material things?? like this isnt me but i guess its more tearing up that it doesnt seem like he really thinks about me or tries to do things. he says he wants to go on trips he wants to do things oay then plan them??? and its always you dont have money thats like the literal excuse okay then plan things that dont cost money??? i always have said that but tthen you get overwhelemd and then get sad we dont do anything like bro im so tired of planning things im tired of planing on what to cook what to do like its just so annoying land its so frustrating bc i dont speak up

i want someone who i am comfortable with someone who i am comfortable around someone who will try to udnerstand me someone who isnt so quick to judge isnt so quick to be defensive i’m just trying to dot he best someone who isnt so down on thesmevles and if they are in a rut then they realize that and they do something about it. like you cant expect change by doing the same thing like thats just not smart 

i want smeoen to match my ambission and to match my drive it can be about whatever it is but like ... do something. i want someone who is more established in their field in something i want them to be able to say they set their mind to something and make it happen. and maybe i’m just clinging on so long bc i do feel sorry i feel so bad i know the situation and it will be so messy and for some reason right now its just eaier to just not do antyhing

real v fake Figuarts ramblings

I’ve been on a real mario kick on the main blog lately so I guess it’s no surprise to see it pop up here.

I don’t actually own a lot of merch for the games, largely bc there’s not a lot of existing stuff that I like. I’m not particularly into mini statues or plushies in general, and Mario as a franchise is surprisingly lacking in nice action figures. 

Well, except this guy (and his respective line), which is why I bought him when our local BnN put all their figures on sale a while back now (got him for $20! heck yeah). 

Aw, he’s so cute. Look at how well made he is. I might give him own post eventually. They also had Yoshi, who I really regret not buying. They didn’t have a Luigi tho, who I definitely would have bought (for the record I’d also have bought any of the princesses too if Bandai made any hint hint), and really found myself wanting one now I had Mario. 

Online Weeg tends to run expensive tho, so at the risk of getting a complete piece of crap, I bought a bootleg version so see how they fare.

And here he is, next to Fire Mario’s box. 

Before I get into this I wanna make it clear that despite being well aware that bootlegs can be cheap pieces of garbage, I have bought many, many excellent bootlegs that were just as well crafted as any official product. Not to promote buying fakes per se, I’m just saying I’ve had some really good experiences with them. Which is why I can say that before opening him it was an honest toss up on whether he’d be a decent one or not. 

...But this was not one of those times. That was getting very clear very fast. 

Real quick tho, I do want to say I like this stand. Sure, it’s not the stand there were supposed to have, but it’s sturdy, and I can think of so many dolls I can use it for thanks to it having a waist clip instead of plugging into his back. I even really like that it’s clear, which makes it look nicer on my back ground as compared to the official green one. 

..now if only Weeg was as well put together. His biggest problem is simply that he falls apart worse than the Funko’s first wave of FnaF figures did. And that’s saying a lot. 

They pretty much disregarded Bandai’s articulation system and put him together with these hobby joints that don’t fit well. 

While it does add a little movement in the elbows...

It takes it almost completely away in the hips. 

they also tend to look weird. 

You can tell where they just sort of cut an official one up and molded around the bits that would’ve been the articulation itself. 

And while over all he doesn’t look so bad, his colors all match and his paint’s not too shabby. 

He’s got a lot defects up close. 

and his head is only loosely held on with this peg, with means he can only run his head left/right. 

Compared to all these problems this seems the least of anything, but it shoudl be noted too the real Figuarts Mario has inset eyes, and fake Weeg’s are simply painted. 

Despite all of this however, I wasn’t immediately hating him and regretting my purchase. I was totally fine with the idea I’d have to fix things, he’s a $16 version of a toy that originally cost $40 and goes for $60+ online, I knew I wasn’t going to get perfection. 

The only thing that really disappointed me was the fact he doesn’t quite look right next to the official Mario. 

He just looks a tad too small. His head particularly, but the over all effect is that they’re not in scale with each other. 

Oh well.  

With all this you’d think I hate him, but not at all. As I said, he does look fairly good over all, and while he can’t sit, he still has a lot of other articulation. He just needs some fixing and he’ll still be a neat little figure. It only means I’m going to keep searching for a decent price on a real one lol.

We have been insuring our Audi with the Co-op, who I've generally found to be reasonable. However, now we have a problem. A couple of months ago we bought a van with the intention of replacing the Audi with the van. But the van needed some work doing on it, so we took out a second insurance on the van with the Co-op, so we could still drive the Audi. At the time, I was disappointed to be told that we could not have a No Claims Bonus on the van, as they said it could only be applied to one policy at a time. But they gave the clear impression that when we cancel the Audi insurance, we could then transfer the NCB to the van. The Audi has now broken down, so we want to cancel its insurance. However, yesterday when I called them, they now said they cannot transfer the NCB to the van as it would be being transferred 'mid-season' to a different car policy. They said they could only have applied it to the van if we had changed the original Audi's policy to cover the van, instead of taking out a different insurance policy for the van. This seems ridiculous. Surely, we are entitled to our NCB?! Why should it matter that it is mid-season or not? I explained that if I cancelled our insurances with them and went to another company, I would be given a NCB on the van so why won't they give it to me. They agreed! I really don't want to change, as I don't trust other companies and the Co-op seem more ethical than others. But this seems so stupid. I just got my probationary license in NJ, and have a couple of questions about insurance. My parents have put me on their insurance plan and today i was given two POI cards-- one for each of their cars. Now, the problem is that I mostly plan to drive my grandmother's car. She lives with us and is getting to the point where she does not drive much anymore. She was told by her insurance company that i do not have to be put on her plan because we live in the same house, but i'm just curious how i would go about proving that i am insured if i ever got into an accident in her car. Can i just hold on to a copy of my POI from one of my parent's two card (in my wallet) to show a police officer, or do I need something specifically for that car? Thank you for the help :)""
