#tagged by#piratefalls#I was having a really hard time figuring how to narrow this list down because there's quite a few more I watch#eventually I decided to only include the ones where I don't 'skip to the good bits'#(Fast Five and Mr & Mrs Smith and The Italian Job and Avengers 2012 I do all watch incredibly often but mostly only the back halves#and my animated movies and musicals I mostly watch the songs and the ends. not the Blues Brothers though)#and then the rest of these I put in order by when I got them because that's probably the best indicator of how often I've seen them#also worth noting that The Martian could easily be swapped for Star Trek (2009) or Charlie's Angels for Ocean's Eight#I tend to watch them back-to-back because they fill similar niches in my brain#Logan Lucky has recently beat out a lot of the other heist movies I rewatch because the characters and accents make me happy#(if anybody has heist movie recommendations though please please share I always want more)
