i would like to formally apologize to Mary, Queen of Scots for having thought since childhood that she was Bloody Mary, when Bloody Mary was in fact her cousin
#- HK#they're both famous for being Super Catholic and dubiously Queen of England ok what was I supposed to think#I consolidated a whole era of history for ease of learning#(I can see how child me got mixed up though because Elizabeth I overshadowed both of them)#I was just reading MQoS's wikipedia page and got to the end and was like. wait. what about all the people she killed#turns out she didn't kill ANY people (that you can prove)#x#history#(the error was in dropping me into the middle of the English royal line during the Wars of the Roses#and expecting me to be invested all the way to the Stuarts.#can any among us name the predecessor of Richard III without looking it up? don't answer that)#(some sick individual among us didn't jump straight from Henry V to the Princes in the Tower like a normal kid)
