Extremely random headcanon from some songs-

Felix before age 24, pre transition? To anyone who can sense souls/lifeforce/energy...He would have appeared all but dead. Despite being quite expressive, it's the kind of sadness and dread one sees from someone who's all but happy to walk into oblivion.

There's nothing there, just spooky like ghost. Someone normal might glean a hint from behaviour, or the observation that he's 'not all there'. Despite this, he would seem completely peaceful in the short time between his egg cracking and transition starting, if still paired in tandem with the dead vibe.

It isn't until later that his energy actually matches the sass, brightness, and apparent will to live and fight.
