oh man the parallel of suvi staying behind as ame and eursulon go to try and save eursulon vs suvi staying behind as ame and eursulon go to try and save ame. both times she’s bound to her doorstep by duty.

also also the parallels between a witch and her cottage as her strong hold but ame being the witch of the world’s heart, wild with the soul of a fox who won’t be captured or controlled. Vs a wizard and her tower and those buildings full of their knowledge being where they’re most powerful and suvi being a wizard who wants to travel but is duty bound by a city.
