it’s not something that bothers me anymore but it is a specific and deeply isolating feeling, when you’re someone who already feels alienated from the general culture, to feel that same way in places where you should fit in
#I’m not just talking about gay bars but also subcultures or hobby/interest groups#and it’s often not anything purposeful or anyones fault#working on an art piece about feeling like a ghost in gay bars#but also I don’t wanna devote too much time to dwelling in and overanalysing negative/depressing shit lately#all my art ideas are backlogged so there’s stuff that I’m unsure whether to actually make/continue#coz I’m in a different (and healthier) mindset now than I was when I came up with the idea#blogshit
