{ ...you know, re listening to Ayano’s Lore video the other day....despite her claiming not to have any ability to sympathize with other people, she does claim to ‘pity’ her dad 

Funny thought: could it be that she actually did have some ability to feel emotion, specifically sympathy, but a combination of her depression and Ryoba’s instance that she was “exactly the same” when she was younger made her doubt herself and just label it as ‘pity’ ?
