So another one of the C1 moments I love but haven’t revisited for a while is the departure and return of Scanlan, as well as the introduction of Tary. 

I always forget how emotional and well acted that whole conversation was with Scanlan before he left. It always hits me hard in the feels, because there is just simply no one really in the wrong. Scanlan never really ever shared his problems or his insecurities with the group til they compounded and he exploded. But VM with all their own shit very much acted with a I’ll share what I want you to know and I expect you to do the same - it was to a degree I’m showing you I care and respect you so I wont be nosy. 

Tary’s introduction was hilarious though - Laura and Marisha were so mad - and Travis’ whisper that allowed them all to yell at everyone involved with planning that surprise, that was hilarious. As a bonus to that - the very first “little elf girl” remark and everyone just noping the fuck out of the moment, both in character and at the table was fantastic to watch. Sam does so much just to mess with Laura and it’s hilarious to watch - he absolutely takes every opportunity, including the witches hat, and turning her skin green later.

Scanlan’s reveal as the Meat Man later though - like they all knew it was coming, Tary had already told them he plans to leave the group. But Vex’s reaction was the best. She just looked pissed the whole conversation - especially after having her suspicions confirmed, and as soon as she got to confront him 1 on 1, it was just an immediate 180 going in for a hug. I cry every time I see it.
