“Hmm, doesn’t ring a bell,” you shrug and he presses his arm harder against your throat, “Now, now, batboy, I need my vocal cords for later, I’ve got a couple men’s names to scream in the bedroom.” He throws you to the ground, you roll a few meters and laugh, “Oh, I love a man who plays rough.”

You prop yourself up on your elbow, grabbing his leg before he can press it on your chest, twisting your body just enough to unbalance him. The Batman stumbles, almost tripping over you as you pull him over yourself. As he’s busy trying to stabilize himself, you get up, shaking your shoulders, “Dimittis,” you mutter and the cuffs fall to the ground, and you blow him a kiss before running off. Batman squints his eyes and pursues, much to your delight.

so, remember how i was concerned that I wouldn't be very good at game combat with a gun? you know, it actually tuns out...that I was completely right, i am DOGSHIT at it, no combat yet has gone even approachably well. it's embarrassing frankly. i have so many points in pistol and the thing fucking hates me. it's me and my sniper rifle from Very Far Away against the world. she's my only friend, the only Gun that treats me right. thank god gaming is a private pass time, no one should see this

tbh i get why people dislike the idea of an until dawn movie for sure but like, on the flip side, it's not like it's gonna change the existence of the game. like do i have high hopes for it as a movie? not really LOL however i'm kinda excited for new content regardless. a movie isn't gonna suddenly make it like the original game itself doesn't exist. even the company that made the game hardly acknowledges that it exists, so idk y'all content is content at this point.

IDK may as well be cautiously excited for it and if nothing else, we can make fun of it. together. <3

I've had anxiety pretty much all my life and having my fears/concerns brushed off is not a new thing for me and sometimes it's justified, but it is uniquely annoying in this case because I keep being right, repeatedly, throughout the pandemic, and people are still acting like I'm just being my panicky self and it's not as big a deal as I'm making it.

I kinda disagree with humanising characters to the point of going "this thing happening in the story would not be what they want" bc that's not a real guy they don't really want anything. like yea I don't think a character like gojo would WANT to live in a world where he's no longer the strongest but I think that breaking his character down and building him back up like that would've been an interesting move? it certainly would fit him thematically, finally allowing him to move on in a way he never could have and all

It's pretty fun but also kinda sad that Alex can pick up on patterns in other people's behaviour extremely easily and can predict their intentions almost spookily well, but when that same person is talking to him, his own personal hang-ups and paranoia entirely skew his judgement

So like he can tell just from observing the behaviour of a distant colleague's new boyfriend from afar for less than five minutes that he has ulterior motives for being with her, but if that same guy walked up to him and turned out to be a fan who then paid him a genuine compliment, he would perceive it as insincere because his personal perception of himself and the intentions of the universe toward him in general due to his curse and his constant paranoia messes with his judgement

Or like he can physically see and perceive that someone is stone cold sober but if they flirt with him he assumes that he must have missed something and that they're probably drunk because why else would anyone do so unless their mentality was critically impaired in some way?

But he gets annoyed with Louise for not always being able to tell when other girls at the bar are just pretending to be nice to her, and at Caroline for wondering whether or not her current boyfriend is lying to her over text about where he is and who he's with, because he can read into people's typing patterns scarily well within just a few minutes of studying it and the truth is just glaringly obvious to him.

But if Caroline just casually texts him "What's up? :)" one day, he's unsure if she is truly just asking him 'what's up' or if it's preceding some kind of further interrogation that he should being to prepare for, despite having known her personally for many years

Talking to myself abt Lilyheart side characters has led me to try and formulate Edwin's plot bc guys look at me. I think he shows up ONCE and then never again so I'm just trying to justify that small role he plays once he shows up physically and the effects afterwards
