rereading The Most Formative Book Of Your Childhood is something that can be so personal. Wendy Mass I owe you everything ⭐
#if i had a nickel for every book i read by wendy mass that affected me jn the deepest part of my soul and changed my outlook#on life at a young age and stuck with me for the next decade+ id have two nickels and all that#every soul a star my love my darling my sweetest most special book#i have to reread it before the eclipse monday i have to... it's the book that really Kicked It All Off for me#I've been a Space Kid since i was born but reading this book in 08/09 REALLY boosted it#I've already teared up several times while rereading it just bc of how much this book means to me and what it did for me#it has such a detailed description of a solar eclipse that i decided i absolutely needed to see one. and then i did 8 years later!#and now it's been almost that same stretch of time for the next one on monday#god i hope it's not too cloudy#(the other book of hers was a mango shaped space. i think i read it in 8th grade/2012? synesthesia.......)
