Both as an interest check for the thing I may or may not be working on and because I've been curious about this question for years and now have access to polls:

As per usual I'd be interested to see people's thoughts on this in the replies if you have any. I remember back when I first got into the fandom this was a pretty big debate but it's died down a lot as the fandom's shrunk so I'm kind of curious where people sit on this now.

#If you couldn't tell from my writing I lean towards dark content but I can enjoy well written fluff #or at least as close to fluff as you can get with DL #I don't think there's any correct way to enjoy the series either I'm just generally curious #I've always gotten the impression my followers are more here for darker stuff but I could be wrong!#for context the thing I may or may not be working on definitely falls into the dark content category #so that's also why I want to know lol
