My husband and I had our marriage blessed yesterday, then we celebrated with afternoon tea with my family, and it was absolutely wonderful and perfect.

I spent the last month planning it all and it turned out even more lovely than I imagined. The service was beautiful and the food perfectly homemade, and the hotel we stayed in the night before was just incredible too. We even got to look at flowers in bloom and a model village right before the food too, which I didn't anticipate being there. I couldn't be happier. Even the cake I designed over two years ago turned out well too!

I'm glad we got to celebrate our love that way with everyone. A good way to begin our proper married life together 🥰

#I don't normally post about my life but this is incredibly special #Im not religious any more but getting blessed by a reverand in a church comforted me in a way #he was extremely lovely and he was perfect for it #he was born in canada post WW2 and also he married my grandparents to each other 🥰#they were together for 60 years!#so Im hoping we get the same joy too 🥰#and in the morning as we ate breakfast we saw a dove and a pigeon cuddling each other right outside the window #like it was our breakfast view #and my husband said look its us in another life #and it was so symbolic and romantic 🥺#my husband is my best friend and the love of my life all in one #meeting and marrying him is the best thing Ive ever done #I can't believe we will have been together 8 years in August #we'll be staying in a spa hotel for a few days now to relax and have like a mini honeymoon haha #then after that we fly back home to canada 🥰 where we will be together forever #sunny speaks #tw marriage #tw religion
