"As one of your devoted female readers, i am writing in response to Mike Milo's letter in issue #17. How dare he say such mean things about Neon Queen? As for saying that she is "only good for one thing, i.e. turning into fluorescent gas," he could not be more wrong! Over the years there have been many occasions when Jeannie's quick wits and sensitive personality have saved the team from certain doom, as when she flirted with Underman's troll-sentry in order to escape the underground prison back in issue 11. With her brains and beauty, Jeannie is an asset to any team."
-- CAROL HERKEL (Mystery Inc. reader) to Mystery Mailbag, from "Mystery Incorporated" Vol. 1 #1 (April, 1993)
