If you've been here awhile, you know that Chimehour is my Edwardian-set gothic novel. A 1901 outbreak turns the Dublin population into a plague of undead, a Chime Child and his inventor companion are returned to the isle by a local spiritualist to investigate the outbreak’s cause and suspected magical mastermind, unleashing a world of ancient magic and dark creatures the British Isles had long forgotten. And perhaps with good reason.

If you're new here: welcome! I used to pitch this book as a middle ground between monsters and tea parties, and that's still true. If you're a fan of Crimson Peak, Penny Dreadful, Sorcery of Thorns, and Carnival Row, this is very much your vibe.

The paperback and e-book editions are now updated with the same content, and a lower price! The changes I made are mostly to repair typos and shore up some of the older writing, so your previous read is not invalid.
