Questions
(This time, it will actually just be questions.)
How does Nadeshiko constantly escape danger?
I know that team elf wants nothing to do with a 6 year old, but seriously Nade has a magic ability to avoid every possible bad ending to a situation.
Went into the underground of building 13,
Survived (special thanks to Jyugo)
Went to the store with her mom and gave two assassins cabbage
Survived
School nurse is secretly an evil scientist, that hates kids, and is looking for a secret parchment thing
Survives? (I haven't gotten to the end of that yet, but I assume she survives.)
I think this is just a huge case of ingorance is bliss. But still as the reader, it's kinda funny that we know these people are very bad and Nadeshiko just has the luxury to be sheltered from the evil.
Is Rokudo stupider than Jyugo?
Lately I have been diving deep into the 610 arc, (I dont really know why, it just fascinates me.) and I had a revolation. I think that Rokudo is stupider than Jyugo!
Does that matter?
No.
Do I think it is a big deal?
Yes.
Jyugo probably knows how a gun works. Jyugo probably knows that if people are hunting you, you shouldnt say hi to them, leading them to were you are so they can catch you.
Just some regular no brainer stuff.
Why would elf want Jyugo's brain?
Out of all the people's brains you could want, why choose Jyugo's?
Jyugo is dummer than bricks and he pretty much sucks at everything.
Why would you want his brain?
I assume that they can make him smarter or something but seriously.
Jyugo? You want Jyugo's brain. Ok. You do you?
Why doesn't Zakuro wear nail polish?
Proof.
Tumblr media
WHAT?! He isnt wearing nail polish! This is illegal! Not allowed!
Weeeeeooooo weeeoooo weeooooooooo NOT WEARING NAIL POLISH ALERT! NOT WEARING NAIL POLISH!! weeeeeeoooooo
Everyone, except Zakuro is wearing nail polish!!
(With the gaurds you can't tell, since they are wearing gloves)
Even Doctor Style Points is wearing nail polish!!
(Doctor Style Points is Isou. He is called that because out of the Evil Scientist 3 he is the most stylish, and that is his only saveing grace. Well except his ability to be super fake. But we will get to that in another show.)
So. Ya. That's it.

The Susu
lt was a Friday, and I left the house that morning anticipating going to the market to shop for food. The plan was to make a dish called Mbahal, a dish that is commonly prepared on Fridays, the day of the Juma prayer. This is one of my husband Karim's favorite dishes, made with dried fish, locust bean and crispy rice. Having stepped out that morning in jeans and a t-shirt, looking very casual, I could have gathered that we were not going to the market after all when I saw what Ebbeh, my sister-in-law, was wearing. Her canary yellow dress, matching headwrap and gold jewelry sparkled in the warm sun that morning as I met her in the entrance to the Brikama market. She grabbed my arm, as she usually does at the market, so as not to lose me in the crowds of people, and we walked toward the long line-up of passenger vans. We boarded the crowded van toward Serrekunda, about a half-hour drive from Brikama. with my sister-in-law Ebbeh. On the drive over, I asked her "where are we going?" and she replied, "we are going to the Susu, we will have lunch there."
When we arrived at our stop in Serrekunda, walked a few blocks in the sweltering, mid-day heat and finally arrived to the home of the woman who was hosting the gathering. When we arrived, there were well over 20 women seated on the front porch, all dressed colorfully and beautifully, hugging, kissing and greeting each other as more women descended upon the gathering. I recognized and greeted a few people: Abdou's older sister Isatou, or Isou as they call her, and another family member named Sesina, who greeted me and handed me bottle of cold water to drink and a small container of Benechin, commonly known as Jollof Rice, she had prepared and brought especially for me to eat. As I mentioned, everyone knows Ebbeh, and each greeted her, listened to how she was doing and everyone had the same question, "who is she?" - she explained that I was Abdou's wife from America. All of the women at the gathering come from the Manjago tribe, and were all likely related in some way. I knew a few greetings in Manjago, mostly that I had learned from Karim's father, and was able to exchange greetings with many of the women. Everyone was incredibly friendly and warm. I sat and ate my lunch quietly. The food was delicious, but due to the extreme heat, I didn't have much of an appetite.
When you cannot communicate fully using spoken language, your other senses become heightened - you are able to tune into body language, facial expressions, changes in vocal tone and the energy that exists in a space. As I was observing what was happening, I began to see a clear picture of why all the women were gathered together. As each woman arrived, they checked in one by one with a woman who was recording notes in a composition book, and handed her a contribution of 2,000 Dalasi, which is the equivalent of about $45.00 in the United States. I was familiar with the fact that people of African-descent, throughout the Motherland and the Diaspora, had been coming together for centuries to support each other through the ongoing gathering of funds, as a means of saving money. One person received the money each time, and the person who received the money rotates, so at one point each person will receive. The composition book the woman was using to record was worn and tattered, from being used many times. The book ws used to not only record the names of those who were present, but also to make a list of those either late or absent that day, who I learned would be charged a penalty for not attending or being late. Once everyone had arrived and made their contribution, everyone was seated.
The space grew quiet for a moment as the organizer added the final few names to a paper bag, shook it up and drew a name out. Before the woman was able to fully call out the name of the recipient of the pool of money from the Susu, the space erupted with cries and screams of excitement and support for her. The woman who was receiving the money was wearing a long piece of continuous fabric that was draped all the way around her body, and when she started moving and exclaiming, she almost lost her entire "wrapper." I couldn't help but also laugh and be happy -  the joy was positively infectious. With so many women as a part of the Susu, I am sure it took quite a while to rotate through everyone, so that everyone would have a chance to receive the money. It was clearly quite a surprise and she was overwhelmed, crying tears of joy.
Once the excitement began to subside, the group began into a very serious conversation. Mind you, I am not able to understand a single word of the language that was spoken, Manjago, but I was picking up cues from the body language, vocal intonation, volume and energy. Someone was upset, and it appeared that there was an altercation starting between two people, but it took long time to figure out who was involved. From what I was able to perceive, someone had done something that made someone else mad, and everyone had something to say about it. After observing the conversation for a while longer, I realized that one half of the argument was in fact not there. The conversation was getting heated, and I had to know what was going on, so I asked my sister-in-law to explain what was happening. She explained that the woman who has not there did not greet the other woman at a baby naming ceremony. In my previous piece, I talk at length about the cultural value placed on greetings, and this was a perfect example of how not greeting someone can be considered a major offense. The mood was incredibly intense as people took turns expressing their opinion on the matter as well as their support to the woman, who was near tears, after having expressed her disappointment with how she was feeling.
After nearly an hour of intense conversation, people began to leave the home where the Susu had gathered earlier that day. I was also feeling exhausted, the day having caught up with me, not to mention the heat. When it came time for us to also go, Ebbeh and I escorted with the women who was upset to another nearby house, the "afterparty", where the two women were able to resolve their issue over the phone, with the support of a few other members of the Susu. I sat in a chair, like a fly on the wall, not able to understand the words being said, only able to feel the sentiments and energy in the spaces I was in. Even amidst the conflict that was at hand, what resonated with me was the support that surrounded both of the women, holding space for their anger and frustration, prioritizing open and honest communication and how many people were accountable for helping them come to a better place. That is the definition of community.

Questions.
Special Victims Unit.
Dun. Dun.
(that has nothing to do with the questions post)
Yes folks!! I do still make content!! I feel like I say that everytime, but I do!! So ya! It is so lovely to see all of the growth in the fandom, and since I have ran out of memes for the time being I will continue to shove my questions out into the Inter-Verse. I have been collecting lots of questions, but due to the American School System and for some reason I can't post the specific pictures I want onto these formats, I have been a bit uninspired. I will be mostly talking about new manga stuff, since I have squeezed every last inch of content out of the anime and first two arcs.
1. What qualifications does Tigia's kid have to be an assistant supervisor?
Fyi, Taiga has a kid. And this child whose name I have neglected to learn since he just seems like an average TikTok boi, which I have too many of in my life, is an assistant supervisor, and he looks like 21?!? Ok, it's legit to have a child of yours working in your work place, but like isn't the limit to join Nanba like 22? And isn't it like very difficult to get in? Like this kid is a kid!!! That's like Auto Promoting Hitoshi!! Hitoshi would be a great supervisor in my opinion, but he doesn't have enough work experience to make him a good choice for the job. And that is why I think that Taiga just was like "Hey child, do you want a very high paying job, just for being my kid?" AND THAT IS WHAT PROBABLY HAPPENED!! I know this stuff happens all the time, but like, I didn't think Taiga would be that type of guy.
I'm kinda disappointed...
2. Where did drill hands come from?
I love Zakuro, but like why drills? I would think, that drills would be incredibly hard to manage, and would stuck to have to operate. I know that Elf and Friends doesn't really care, but aren't all of these hand choices being used by their people for THEIR convenience? Like one, when you are drilling into stuff, such as a wall or giant rock or piece of wood, there is always some extra stuff, that is there. Like in this epic picture of Zakuro, (which belongs to Sho)
Tumblr media
Look at all of that extra stuff flying everywhere!! I know this is a manga series, so this definitely won't happen, in the canon, but um gravity exists, and at least one of those pieces should fall dangerously close to Zakuro's face. The super hero mask will not save you from that one sweetie.
In conclusion, it's just seems so difficult, and unmanageable, and a pain. Also, does Zakuro also have drill feet like Jyugo does? Since there is a shackle on their necks, would it be possible for Drill head or Knife head?
There's just so much gray area for these shackles.
3. Would everyone in Team Elf be immortal?
Like when you sign up its just BOOM your immortal now or is there some sort of thing you have to do?
Let me elaborate, I would think that Team Elf (or their fancy name, Shiki, which I think is too cool for them) would have a sort of Caste system. If you aren't a history buff or you just don't pay enough attention to history, a caste system is a medieval social status system that is quite rigid. So you can't really go up in the society without doing some magic mystery stuff to make the people of the higher class like you or you are just that pro skills.
Direct your attention to my amazingly made infographic, (I am on one today)
Tumblr media
There is a very distinct division of power/ influence. This is only part of what I am saying so I have no idea why I made the infographic. So, we all know that Isou is immortal, due to the amount of ummm headlessness he has had during his existence in the series. So I would think that Elf, Isou, and Scar Man would be immortal.
What about the rest of these people?
Well, I think that if I was the three chosen people, I wouldn't have shared any of that shit. That's my magic mixture. But I wouldn't think it would unreasonable to assume that at least Team Elf would also be immortal or at least close, since 2 of them have been brought back from the dead, Mei and Ido are like completely indstrucable, and the rest of them are just like insane. So ya. Now we would extend the statement further. By further I mean Zak Attack, Fire Boi, and JugeMo. I would highly doubt they are immortal, but they have the Elf thing going to to prevent them from dieing, so would Elf just be Immortality? I don't even know where I was going with this one.

Questions
(Or headcanons or rhetorical questions or story times or why do I keep doing this part or all of you should know that questions are an umbrella term so that when I'm bored, and can find this post again.)
*EXTREME EXHALE*
The post will be under the cut thing, since it's gonna be long.
1. Why does everyone have phones?
Who thought that this was ok? Also who found the materials to give a bunch of criminals phones. I know that this is "rainbow magic reality smear" Prison, but why?
Its not like I'm against it, it could give them insight to the real world, and teach responsibly?
I just wouldn't give them phones.
But I wouldnt be surprised if they were like school computers, so when you try to go to CoolMathGames, they will block you. That is a good idea, but still it's weird.
2. Why is Isou always around children?
He was around Noriko when she was a child, he hung around Manji that one time, (I classify Manji as a child since Manji is Ban, yada yada, go to my past Questions post for more explanation,) and now he is the weird Sub at Nadeshikos school.
Whats with the kids Isou?
Ya like kids?
I'm kinda thinking that he is like the "Child Outreach Specialist" or something?
I know that this
Tumblr media
Is a lot more approachable than this,
Tumblr media
But still, why does there have to be a separate goon for the kids?
Why not put elf in a actual elf costume, and have him be around the kids!
The Man with the Scar could save some money or wouldn't have go deal with all that Elf and Isou drama.
Maybe Elf doesn't like kids? Or he doesnt want to be asked stupid questions by kids? Either way, I'm not complaining since I enjoy Isou and his...
Ummm
Ability to be evil but not that evil.
Now we are getting to more of the talk about it stuff. (Not really questions)
3. Yakumo and Tsu-in existed since part 2 of the manga.
Proof
Tumblr media
Gotta look pretty hard but once you see it, you never go back.
4. The Uno theory
This was mostly a Discord thing, but I am taking the liberty to talk about it here.
Due to the fact that Uno doesn't have a backstory, "game builder garbage and nanbaka" has decided that Uno could be evil.
Now, as much as it worries me to think about, Uno can't be evil, since every person who is a Elf... person or cronie or bro? I don't know, has pointy ears!!
*Disclamer, I pulled this theory right out of my ass, so it may not be correct. It's not the only reason why I don't think Uno is evil, i just wanted to bring it up.*
Yup, that's right if Elf can posses you, then you have pointy ears. Not as pointy as Elfs ears but not in the regular shape of a normal persons ear.
Example
Tumblr media
I would love to show a picture of Uno without pointy ears, but HIS HAIR COVERING HIS EARS!!! And I dont feel like searching the manga for ear pictures right now. Ugh you and your gorgeous hair.
You get my point.
(Pun intended)
Another reason why Uno isn't evil, is that SHIN'S GOT ALL THE EVIL ELF SNITCH COVERED!!!!
Agghhh!! Shin!!!
Proof
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
WHAT ORDERS!!!
This is kinda out of context, so here is some context, this was before Zakuro and Ikkaku arrived at Nanba. Chapter 191 or 192, (im out of coins now searching for that.) But who else would he be talking to due to the context of the statement!!
SHIN IS EVIL!!!!
WHY WHOULD ANY PRISON WANT A BUNCH OF SUPER HUMANS, SUPER HUMANING IT UP!! SHIN HANDED, the lovely, MISS MOMOKO A BUCKET OF LIES!!!! HE LIED TO THE CAUSE, HE LIED TO MOMOKO!! FIRE HIM!!
Sorry for the all caps, I feel every strongly about HOW MUCH SHIN SUCKS!!!!
That's it.
And that also anwsers my
Why does Shin need an anvil to crush him in the skull? question from awhile back.
