OOC INFORMATION
Welcome to our first string of events! We're keeping things simple this time and we hope you all enjoy! Canonically, the outdoor library festivities take place on the weekends of April 19th and April 26th; the concert from April 13th to the 19th; the orchid painting from April 13th to April 27th. In-verse, these will last one month, and will conclude on Wednesday, May 15th! Apart from attending the events, if your muse(s) are interested in working/volunteering at any of the events, that's totally fine with us! As we have lots of artists on board, they could be helping out with the orchid painting; performers in the group can be involved in the concert; etc. Please be as creative as you'd like, and let us know if you have any questions! As always, have fun!

๐ŸŒˆ RAINBOW: What is your muse's sexual and/or romantic orientation? Who knows about it? How do they feel about it? Have they always known, or did it take time to figure out?
honestly jesse doesn't really identify as anything? he just likes who he likes (or sleeps with who he finds attractive, regardless of gender tbh). he doesn't have any huge feelings towards it, it's just something that he is and that's about it. while it isn't something he hides, he also doesn't run around shouting "I LIKE BOYS AND GIRLS AND EVERYTHING INBETWEEN" either. jesse went through a crisis when he was in his early teenage years when he developed a baby crush on a male friend and, growing up with pretty conservative parents all he knew was that this was a bad thing. it wasn't long until (with the help of the internet and reddit) that he came to the conclusion that it wasn't a huge deal and fuck everyone who thought it was.

๐Ÿ’š tell us about your muses family. what is/was their relationship with their parents like? do they have siblings? if so, are they close? do they want to change their familial relationships in any way?
jesse's relationship with his parents has always been... strained, to say the least. it became very obvious when jesse hit about middle school that he didn't have the same sort of discipline when it came to school that his sister did. when his sister was his age she had thrown herself into schooling, spending most of her time outside of school studying and learning all that she could. where as jesse? well he quite literally couldn't give a shit and that always rubbed his parents the wrong way. after his sister graduated and moved away for college they all but lost touch and he has not had a real conversation with her since (over six years). his parents kicked him out of their house as soon as he was old enough and jesse took that as a blessing in disguise. he has not spoken to his parents since he left their home and no part of him plans on contacting them again if he can help it.
