Lovely new single from 林宥嘉 Yoga Lin, this starts out with gentle nylon string guitar, and never gets much louder, even after the full band comes in.  =D

The song is called 我不是神，我只是平凡卻直拗愛著你的人 and the English title is Wordless Groans, but the Google translation is something like “I'm not a god, I'm just an ordinary person who always loves you”.

A bunch of live clips have been released from Waa Wei 魏如萱’s HAVE A NICE :DAY 巡迴演唱會 concert at Taipei Arena.  The Have A Nice Day album came out in June, 021, and this concert video is from last summer. (?) 

I think the last 3 MVs from this show all feature Waa and most of the band on an auxiliary stage in the center of the venue.  Drums and Keys are back on the main stage.

Congratulations 洪佩瑜 Pei-Yu Hung! =D

Saw this earlier on TaiwanPlus News twitter: Best New Artist goes to Pei-Yu Hung! This is her first award of the night. She’s nominated for 8 GMAs, the most among all nominees this year. She launched her career 10 years ago, but only released her 1st studio album in 2022.

This starts out a quiet ballad and really builds in intensity. A powerful new single from 好樂團 GoodBand!  =D

魏如萱 waa wei and Lovely Baby band (Achino Chang 張瀚中 (阿雞)-keys/accordion, 韓立康 Likang Han-guitar/synth, 賴聖文 Peter Lai-drums, Jack Ko 柯遵毓-bass, supplemented by cellist Hang Liu 劉涵, and that is 徐平 Lobby Boy on guitar. I think that is a new nickname for 徐皮 Lazybody aka Lazy Hsu.)

That’s a heavenly choir of TW singers backing up ‘Maa Wei’ at TICC!   =D

The song is If (music/lyrics by Jackie Yu) from Waa’s 在哪裡 Where ep (2011). 

We previewed this gathering of singers a few weeks ago. Left to right, that’s Hang Liu 劉涵 (Infancy 隱分子樂團), DingBuLaDing 丁律妏 (Crispy 脆樂團), Paige Su 蘇珮卿, and Marvelous Mandark Ravel 梁丹郡 (I Mean Us, 甜約翰 Sweet John).

Listen closely to how they divide up the vocal arrangement.  And bravo to 丁律妏 for those stratospheric harmonies!  =D 

lkk31067 YT channel has about 9 songs of the concert posted. (including 1 more song with the choir -- go listen, it’s spectacular!) 

The stage setting was arranged to keep Waa off of her feet as much as possible, not a lot of dancing/jumping as she is 7 months pregnant.
