The horizontal pump incorporates a motor
Benefits of a Horizontal Centrifugal Knock out
The advantages of your horizontal centrifugal knock out outweigh its cons. It is not hard to install and maintain, and is easy to adjust towards the proper headroom as well as fluid flow charge. These pumps can also be suitable for high pressures and temps. However, you should note this pump can undertake a large footprint, so it is important to plan for enough headroom with your facility. Below are some advantages of a horizontal centrifugal pump.
The horizontal centrifugal pump is simple to install and is relatively inexpensive, but its mechanical seal may not be durable enough for a lot of applications. A submersible model isn't recommended for sizzling or flammable bodily fluids, or for substantial viscosity or NPSHa essential liquids. It is also tougher to maintain using turbine pumps, and requires an expensive pit and clip or barrel. Mechanical seals are also more prone to fail with high-pressure essential fluids, making maintenance tricky.
The horizontal pump incorporates a motor that is situated adjacent to your pump head. Horizontal pumps could be close-coupled or long-coupled.China wholesale 12v 1 hp Solar Powered Both types may be used, but have disadvantages. Vertical pumps necessitate more spare parts and cannot be exchanged with horizontal pumps. Some up and down designs are "tight" pertaining to space, reducing all round height and turning moment. This can make maintenance difficult. These issues were major difficulty with horizontal pumps before ANSI and API specs were adopted.
The horizontal centrifugal pump is built to work efficiently for a variety of different applications. The suction water line draws liquid into your pump, while that discharge pipe draws fluid out. Each stage increases the pressure and discharge volume of the pump. They can also be ideal for difficulty boosting systems, irrigation techniques, and irrigation techniques. There are many other advantages that help to make horizontal centrifugal pumps a good solution for a variety of applications.
When working with fluids other as compared to water, you must think about the density and gravity with the working fluid. The density with the fluid is immediately proportional to it is volume and pounds, so you must think ratio before finding a horizontal centrifugal push. The weight from the fluid will affect as much work the pump may do. The extra dense the water, the higher this input power required to pump the the liquid.
Horizontal centrifugal sends are simpler to run and maintain than vertical ones. Their internal parts are readily available, and the shaft could be suspended or internally supported. They are well suited for indoor applications, and their low headroom makes them easy to connect to external equipment. And because they may be relatively low-headed, hd require a large area. If there isn't headroom, a horizontal pump will be the perfect choice.
This ANSI B73. 1 standard can be used for centrifugal pumps. This standard makes ANSI process pushes of similar shapes are interchangeable. Which means no matter that manufacturer produces ones horizontal centrifugal knock out, you'll be capable to choose a model that may fit your desires. You can possibly find high-flow horizontal pumps that has a high-performance rating. But be sure you consider the impact of an horizontal pump using a pipeline before you buy one.

Finland acquires JDAM and SDB I weapon systems for its F-35 fighters
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 03/01/2024 - 13:00 in Military
The Patria and the Finnish Defense Forces signed a service agreement to develop the capabilities of Finland's F-35 program, specifically purchases of JDAM and SDB I ammunition.
Major General Jari Mikkonen, Head of the Logistics Command of the Finnish Defense Forces (FDFLOGCOM) signed the contract for the acquisition of JDAM and SDB I ammunition for the F-35 multifunctional fighters on February 29, 2024. The Finnish Minister of Defense authorized the Logistics of the Defence Forces Command to conduct the acquisition.
The object of the acquisition is the JDAM and SDB I systems with related equipment and services in the years 2024–2030. The acquisition is referred to as the Total Package Approach (TPA), which means that, in addition to the JDAM and SDB I pumps, the acquisition includes transport sets of BRU-61 ammunition, training material, manuals, spare parts, accessories, transport services and manufacturer instructions, as well as training services and supplier support. Contains spare parts and support services for manufacturers and suppliers by 2030.
The acquisition contract is in dollars and its indexed maximum price is US$ 96.1 million. Purchase payments will take place during the years 2024-2030.
The acquisition will be carried out in accordance with the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procedure between the authorities of the USA and Finland, in which the Defense Forces Logistics Command will conclude the acquisition contract with the United States administration.
Tumblr media
The JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) is a modular guidance kit for 500, 1,000 or 2,000 pound bombs of the Mark 80 series. In addition to a guidance kit, a fuse or sensor is installed in the pump, depending on the intended use. A bomb equipped with JDAM can perform precision attacks on fixed or mobile targets at short range.
The SDB I (Small Diameter Bomb I) is a glider pump capable of accurately hitting medium-range targets. Thanks to the relatively small size of the pump, a fighter is able to carry a larger number of SDB I bombs at a time.
Guided bombs and glider bombs are part of the weapons acquisition package that allows the Finnish Air Force to have the ability to support other Forces in combat activities. The weapons of the F-35 fighters from Finland will be acquired in stages until the year 2035. The phased implementation of the acquisition of weapons will make it possible to optimize the composition of weapons as the Finnish F-35 program progresses.
"Some of the types of weapons to be purchased can also be used with our current fleet of F/A-18 Hornet. Therefore, when we make the transition to the F-35, we will be able to profit from the skills and experience in systems acquired so far," said the Director of the F-35 Program, Colonel (retired), Henrik Elo.

“This is him then... The one who nearly took your helm off?” A jet with a camo-like paint job questions as she approaches her boss while holding a data pad. Beside him is a teal and purple copter with his servos tied up and hanging from the ceiling of a vast dimmed lighted warehouse. Everything between his smashed visor and mask down to the shotgun wound on their waist has either been dented, broken, or beaten severely.
But hey, the one audial is still playing his tunes, so it’s not all that bad.
Dissect me 'til my blood runs Down into the drain My bitter heart is pumping Oil into my veins
The four-wheeled leader huffed as he turned to look at his right hand. His iris servos are covered in bright pink blood along with splatters across his chassis and face. “The very one. What did you find about him?”
The jet gets closer and stares at the hanging mech, completely unfazed by the scene. To her, it’s just another day at the office. Upon closer observation, she can see a stab wound in the purple mech's throat, precisely where the voice box is located, and can only assume that he was ‘too chatty’ and annoyed the iris mech to the point that he can no longer speak. “You’re not going to like it.” She states before lifting up the pad to read the patch of notes again.
“Spit it out.” The boss growls while looking back at the copter, a servo clenching into a fist when catching him smirking at the jet’s response.
“His name is Vortex and... he’s one of Onslaught’s mechs sir. Thus, I highly advised we let him go or we are putting a huge target on our backs.”
I'm nothing but a tin man Don't feel any pain I don't feel any pain I don't feel any pain I'm rusted from the rain
The vehicle’s engine revved hard. Not enjoying how the copter’s upper frame was bouncing up and down as if he were laughing. Taunting him like he had all the power and is now safe. “No.”
The camo flier vents in deeply. “Look, we can still fix this. We can say it was a simple mistake, that we got the wrong copter-”
“It’s not Onslaught’s style to send one of his after some drug supplier, this seemed more... personal. Besides, this mech had this coming after slicing my neck open and bringing cop attention to my business.” The vehicle growls then swings his clenched servo right into Vortex’s waist, breaking right through the damaged plating from the gun earlier and managing to sink his digits inside. The moment he feels them wrap around something he viciously rips it out. “This is his own problem. His mistake for coming after me in the first place.” He lifts the fuel tank up, crushes it in his grasp then tosses it aside before turning back towards the jet.
Go on, crush me like a flower Rusted from the rain Come on, strip me of my power Beat me with your chains
“Get the guards outside to depose him. Do what you can so this doesn’t trace back to us.” The boss commands, pulling a rag out to clean off the energon on his servos and frame while stepping away to leave the room.
The jet nods, typing away on the data pad to notify the 2 mechs before glancing over to the copter. The hole in his abdomen area is massive and almost deep enough to see the endoskeleton inside.
She hums then turns to make her leave as well. “It was nice to meet you Vortex.”
And if I'm the king of cowards You're the queen of pain I'm rusted from the rain ⁱ'ᵐ ʳᵘˢᵗᵉᵈ ᶠʳᵒᵐ ᵗʰᵉ ʳᵃⁱⁿ

Dangote refinery designed to process Nigerian crude – CEO
Tumblr media
The President and Chief Executive of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has stated that his $20bn Dangote Petroleum Refinery was built to use Nigerian crude and add value to it within the country. Dangote, who stated this in a statement issued by the refinery on Thursday, asked why should the plant deviate from this focus, as he admitted that the refinery had also been refining crude oil grades from Europe, the United States, and other countries. Africa’s wealthiest man further noted that the domestic crude oil supply issues in Nigeria were being resolved by the parties involved. The statement said the refinery has already affected crude flows, with dozens of Nigerian cargoes remaining in-country and US WTI Midland, a comparable light, sweet grade, being imported. It said the mega-refinery could therefore tighten the light, sweet crude market. “Its diet is WTI and the lighter Nigerian (crudes) so if you were chasing those barrels you’d probably feel it quite keenly,” the statement stated that a West African crude trader told Commodity Insights. It said WTI Midland crude initially emerged as the favoured feedstock to supplement Nigerian supply, with the refinery signing long-term supply contracts for the US grade and noting its competitive pricing. It stated that crude flows in and out of the Dangote refinery have been felt in other markets, especially in Europe, the largest consumer of light, sweet Nigerian crude. “The US grade has accounted for 30 per cent of crude delivered to Dangote, through 18 cargoes,” the multi-billion dollar company stated in the statement. It said Dangote stated that the facility would broaden the refinery’s feedstock sources with Libyan, Angolan, and Brazilian crude. “The refinery was built to use Nigerian crude and add value to it within Nigeria. Why should we deviate from that focus?” Dangote stated, adding that the crude supply issues were “getting resolved”, but that the refinery remained open to all opportunities “to supplement it”. “Dangote refinery is designed to process a range of light and medium grades of crude oil, including Nigerian grades,” said Rasool Barouni, Associate Director and head of Refining at S&P Global Commodity Insights. “Other similar grades including other WAF grades could be an option.” Nigeria is sub-Saharan Africa’s largest oil producer, pumping 1.5 million barrels per day in June, according to the Platts OPEC Survey from S&P Global Commodity Insights. Until this year, all of its oil was exported due to the lack of refining capacity, with gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel imported for domestic use. The statement also noted that the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries said supplies from Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals would put pressure on the performance of Europe’s oil industry, especially the Northwest Europe gasoil. It stated that OPEC in its monthly Oil Market Report for June 2024 listed Dangote refinery among the top diesel and jet fuel suppliers that would disrupt Europe’s oil and gas Industry, a development experts forecasted would positively impact the Nigerian economy. Recall that Standard & Poor Global quoting trading and the ship tracking sources had earlier predicted that Nigeria’s $20bn Dangote refinery would shake up international crude flows when it reaches full capacity, having already made an impact since coming online in January, trading sources and ship tracking data show. In another development, the Dangote refinery clarified its stand on crude supply to the plant. “Our attention has been drawn to media reports alleging that the Dangote refinery has backtracked by acknowledging that NNPC supplied about 60 per cent of the 50 million barrels we lifted.“ To clarify, we have never accused NNPC of not supplying us with crude. Our concern has always been NUPRC’s reluctance to enforce the domestic crude supply obligation and ensure that we receive our full crude requirement from NNPC and the IOCs. “For September, our requirement is 15 cargoes, of which NNPC allocated six. Despite appealing to NUPRC, we’ve been unable to secure the remaining cargoes. When we approached IOCs producing in Nigeria, they redirected us to their international trading arms or responded that their cargoes were committed. “Consequently, we often purchase the same Nigerian crude from international traders at an additional $3-$4 premium per barrel which translates to $3-$4 million per cargo,” the refinery stated in a statement issued on Thursday. It still insisted that “we are unable to secure our full crude requirement from domestic production and urge NUPRC (Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission) to fully enforce the domestic crude supply obligation as mandated by the PIA.” Read the full article

Several used MiG-21 fighters ?? by the Romanian Air Force were damaged after suppliers exchanged premium fuel for low-quality kerosene.
The prosecutors of the Ploiesti Court of Appeal followed the sale of the defective kerosene to businessman Cristian Berendel. In 2018, Berendel and the Ministry of Defense signed an agreement by which the former would provide aviation fuel to the latter for four years.
The first fuel shipments were within the standard, consisting of premium kerosene. The following, however, were cheap and low-quality fuel from Greece and Turkey, according to the Gandul website.
Over time, five fighters used to patrol the airspace, who had received the fuel, began to show signs of malfunction. Its fuel pumps, in particular, warned aviation experts and technicians that kerosene did not comply with the standard.

Damage to planes totals 6 million euros. In addition, because the fighters were temporarily unable to fly, Romania was placed in the position of not being able to fulfill its obligations to NATO, that is, to defend its own airspace. The planes in question had to receive repairs at Aerostar Bacau.
Despite being one of the newest MiG-21 fleets in service, the Romanian fleet of MiG-21 LanceR was grounded due to aircraft maintenance difficulties and, since 1996, has had an accident rate of more than 30 per 100,000 hours.
After several incidents involving the MiG-21 LanceR fighters of the Romanian Air Force (RoAF), the Romanian Ministry of Defense announced that all operations with the aircraft were suspended as of April 15, 2022.
RoAF resumed flights with the MiG-21 on May 23, 2022. The service will continue to operate until May 15, 2023.
After May 2023, the LanceRs will be removed from service and replaced by the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcons. Romania acquired 17 second-hand F-16 fighters from Portugal in 2016 and intends to buy 32 more aircraft from Norway.
