Joanderson Brito cuts hole into Jack Shore's leg and gets doctor stoppage win.

Brito destroys Shore with leg kicks. Like he kicked Shore's leg so much through the first 6-7 minutes, that it swelled up. Then he kicked it again, Shore went to check and it exploded. The ref called the doctor in as Brito was punching Shore in the shin along the cage and the doctor stuck his whole ass finger into the cut. Then he stopped the fight.

I feel for Shore. Weird way to lose. But if the doc was able to feel all up on his shin bone, it was probably for the best the fight was over. Brito continues to be a physical specimen in the cage. Terrific athlete and devastating offensive power that makes it hard for guys to fight him off.

There may be a new player on the horizon in African MMA. Ares Fighting Championship will host its inaugural event on Saturday 14th December in Dakar, Senegal, and there’s plenty of buzz about it in the continent and beyond. The upstart promotion’s first offering is a 12-fight card featuring competitors from across the globe. For the main event, Lithuania’s Laurynas Urbonavicius takes on former UFC light heavyweight Ildemar Alcantara. While the main event lacks a fighter from Africa or a European fighter with lineage from the continent, the vast majority of the Ares 1 bouts features at least one combatant either from Africa or of African stock – north and south. The co-main event features French Cage Warriors veteran Sofiane Boukichou and the debuting Senegalese wrestling champion Oumar Kane. That fight is pretty symbolic of what it seems Ares FC is trying to achieve in its first event: feature some well-known names from Europe or South America and pair them with an African talent or a fighter from the African diaspora. Elsewhere on the card, the likes of Joe Meunier, Damien Lapilus and Taylor Lapilus will be hoping to delight the Dakar crowd on Saturday night. I love seeing knew promotions sprout from the ground up and it will certainly be interesting to watch Ares 1’s first show. Luckily for you, it’s easy to watch. Ramon Oliveira Cruz, o ‘Coroa’, se tornou o novo ‘Ás de Paus’. Nascido em Mundo Novo, região da Chapada Diamantina, Coroa é procurado por homicídio e remove Joel Cardoso dos Santos, conhecido também como ‘Coroa’ ou ‘Chefe’.

Claudia de Jesus Santos, a ‘Gagai’, que comercializa drogas em Feira de Santana, é agora a ‘Dois de Paus’, no lugar de José Nílton Ramos dos Santos Júnior, o ‘Esquerdinha’. Jack Shore - The Road To Rio - UFC 301

Jack Shore (17-1) is an incredibly skilled MMA fighter. He's well rounded and always seems to have a good gameplan heading into the cage. Skill wise, I think he's a top fighter at featherweight. There are intangibles though that you need to be a real top contender and I'm not sure he has those. We'll see as he works his way thru the 145lb division.

Shore is set to head to Rio this Saturday (May 4) for UFC 301 where the Welshman will face off with Joanderson Brito (16-3-1).
