Any ideas for how the crusaders (everyone lives au) would tease Jotaro for wearing a Lisa Frank-esque shirt that says "Life's a Beach"?
- Joseph bought him this shirt and expected him to throw it right back in his grandfather’s face. What he wasn’t expecting is for Jotaro to unfold it, look at the neon pink and electric blue illustration of a smiling dolphin, nod to himself and immediately shed his turtleneck to put it on. Joseph can’t make fun of Jotaro now - that would ruin his joke - so he just chokes out “S-suits you!” and curses himself for being such a master of tomfoolery.
- Avdol, upon seeing the shirt, raises his eyebrows but has enough sense not to question it. He recognises - unfortunately - Joseph’s skilled hand at work, and he knows that Jotaro isn’t the kind of man you want to get on the wrong side of. So he accepts that this anatomically incorrect, sparkle-eyed monstrosity is going to be staring at him for the rest of the day and wonders where he went wrong in his life that he counts Joseph, Jotaro and the rest of the Crusaders among his friends.
- Kakyoin gives Jotaro a sly smile, immediately understanding Jotaro better than Joseph did. Kakyoin can tell that Jotaro is intensely aware that Joseph bought him this as a gag gift, but he’s also aware that the best way to psyche his grandfather out is take it totally seriously - the fact that there’s a beach pun on it and a dolphin is just a bonus for Jotaro. “And then you die?” He asks, totally straight faced - Jotaro meets his gaze and grunts out; “Dolphinitely.”
- Polnareff has died and gone to heaven. He has never, in his whole life, seen something as hilarious as a six foot something, muscled to rival a bodybuilder, pushing-twenty-year-old man in a technicolour tee shirt that looks like it was designed for a six year old girl. The cutesy dolphin and the text just make it golden. After he’s managed to pull himself up from being doubled over, he makes his way to Joseph and pats the older man on the back in congratulations.
