Killua stops in his tracks, and Gon can see how his back tenses, his hair seeming to stand on edge, as the tips of his ears go bright red.

Killua’s skin always goes cute and pink like that.

“Eh? That looks cute on you, Killua.”

Gon’s voice draws him out of his reverie, and he squeaks, stumbling back.

“G-Gon!”

He pulls the hood down as far as he can, pouting.

“Y-You can’t just come in here while I’m changing!”

Gon opens his mouth, lifting his hand.

“But you’re already dressed, and we’re both boys-”

A pillow hits him square in the face and then flops to the floor.

He doesn’t mind when Killua smushes his cute little nose to his chest and gets snot over his tank-top because it��s adorable, and he wants to do anything he can to take away Killua’s worries.

Disinfectant and Band-Aids

“S-Stop making fun of me, idiot Gon!”

Gon shifts Killua so he’s holding him with one arm and carefully slips some of his hair behind his ear.

“I’d never. I just know how worried you get about them, pumpkin. But I promise every kid has to eat dirt at least once.”

Killua sniffs, rubbing his arm under his nose.

“I-I know… it’s just…”

Gon hums and presses a kiss to Killua’s forehead.

Killua’s so sweet.

“I promise I’ll try my best to make sure at least none of the kids in my class are consuming glue!"

“G-Gon!”

Naughty or Nice

“You’re on the nice list, isn’t that right, Gon?”

Gon smiles and nods, looking down at Killua who stares with wide eyes.

“Y-You’re lying.”

The Santa simply gives a smile and rummages through his bag.

“Ho, ho, ho, I do not lie! I know all!”

Killua puffs out his cheeks, and Santa turns back around, holding out a stuffed white teddy bear with a pink bow.

Gon glances to catch a glimpse of Killua’s face; his mouth is open, and his eyes seem to sparkle. It’s the cutest sight Gon’s ever seen.

His fingers twitch, but he keeps them around Gon’s neck.

“Go on, Killua.”

Touchdown!

“Big Brother! We’re supposed to be cheering for the whole team!“

Killua stomps his foot on the ground, adjusting his striped sock, tugging his skirt down a little, and sticking his tongue out.

“Well, I don’t see Pouf or Pitou cheering for the whole team!”

They always cheer for Meruem only!

Killua, at least, cheers for the team most of the time…!

H-he just likes to cheer for Gon a little more once in a while…

Happily Ever After

Killua was afraid of this day always. But he thinks it’s finally come. Gon doesn’t love him anymore. Not really, at least. Not for the last two months. Killua plays with the ring on his finger, the silver band still as sparkling as ever, the amethyst gem gleaming in the light.

Back then, it seemed like Gon was so happy.

Now he can’t remember the last time Gon smiled at him.

‘Your heart sounds so troubled.’

Melody was the unexpected kindness and voice he really needed to hear.

Her voice was soothing, and she looked at him with a gaze filled with sympathy.

‘You should speak to him.’

Killua puffs out his cheeks, stomping his foot on the ground, and Gon’s heart stops.

Well, this is why he’s here.

Killua’s so cute; he’s sure the guys won’t mind if he skips practice because he has, ah, a “paper cut.”

The little pink pin in Killua’s hair, the way his button nose gets all red in annoyance, his cute little nurse dress…

They guys won’t mind. Actually, Gon’s had to knock a few in the skull a couple of times for looking at Killua.
