just like a deer in the headlights, elodie’s body freezes: oh, she does not like the implication of any of that. tiny droplets of sweat, in fact, begin forming on her forehead as the young halfblood fights against the urge of succumbing to her irrational fears. it’d be easier to yell, ruffle her own hair and jump till whatever thought her head was a nice landing spot would fall down, though she believes her very convincing argument might persuade her big sister to lend a helping hand before she makes a fool of herself in front of her.
