Someone’s morality or goodness as a person (and as a society!) isn’t tied to their religion, and implying otherwise feels pretty… demeaning to others, I guess? Like I hope you never say something like that in front of a friend who isn’t religious, or in front of a coworker who’s Muslim or Hindu. No one is better than another person just because they adhere to a specific religion. The way you speak about other religions (and the non-religious) is giving me supremacist vibes, and it makes me really nervous about my decision to follow you. I hope you’re able to reflect on the way you think about non-Christians in a way that allows you to be more compassionate to them. Hun, your entire narrative becomes moot the moment you realize the mess people fr Christian countries wasn't out of obeying the Bible. The same couldn't be said about the Sharia of the discriminatory cast systems that is rooted in Buddhism or Hinduism spirituality.

However, the Bible contains a whole book where Paul, the most prominent apostle of the New Testament, pleaded to a friend free a slave. If the Bible was defending slavery & colonization, then slaves owners wouldn't cut out entre passage of the Bible to not give "ideas" to slaves.

A new Oklahoma judge could lose her job for sending more than 500 texts to her bailiff during a murder trial, including messages mocking the prosecutor, praising the defense attorney and calling a key witness a liar. 

The chief justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court recommended the removal of Lincoln County District Judge Traci Soderstrom in a court filing Tuesday following an investigation by the state's Council on Judicial Complaints.

Soderstrom has been under scrutiny since July after she was caught on camera scrolling through social media and texting during the trial of a man accused in the fatal beating of a 2-year-old.

Soderstrom, who was sworn in on Jan. 9 after being elected in November, was suspended with pay pending the outcome of a hearing by the Court on the Judiciary, which will determine whether to remove her from the bench.

"The pattern of conduct demonstrates Respondent's (Soderstrom's) gross neglect of duty, gross partiality and oppression," Chief Justice John Kane IV wrote. "The conduct further demonstrates Respondent's (Soderstrom's) lack of temperament to serve as a judge."

A phone call to a number listed for Soderstrom rang unanswered before disconnecting Wednesday.

Her attorney told The Oklahoman newspaper that the judge "takes these allegations very seriously" and is requesting "the entire record from the Council on Judicial Complaints so that she can respond appropriately."

Security video published by The Oklahoman showed Soderstrom texting or messaging for minutes at a time during jury selection, opening statements and testimony during the trial in Chandler, about 45 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.

The judge's texts included saying the prosecutor was "sweating through his coat" during questioning of potential jurors and asking "why does he have baby hands?" according to Kane's petition. The texts described the defense attorney as "awesome" and asked "can I clap for her?" during the defense attorney's opening arguments.

Soderstrom also texted a laughing emoji icon to the bailiff, who had "made a crass and demeaning reference to the prosecuting attorneys' genitals," Kane wrote.

Khristian Tyler Martzall, the man who was on trial while the judge was on her phone, was eventually convicted of second-degree manslaughter in the 2018 death of Braxton Danker, the son of Martzall's girlfriend, and sentenced to time served.

Martzall's girlfriend and the mother of the child, Judith Danker, pleaded guilty to enabling child abuse. She was sentenced to 25 years and was a key prosecution witness who was called a liar by Soderstrom during testimony.

"State just couldn't accept that a mom could kill their kid so they went after the next person available," Soderstrom texted, according to the filing from Kane.

Soderstrom's texts also included comments questioning whether a juror was wearing a wig, if a witness has teeth and calling a police officer who testified, "pretty," adding, "I could look at him all day."

When questioned by the Council on Judicial Complaints, Soderstrom said her texting "probably could have waited" rather than realizing the comments should never have been made. She said she thought, "oh, that's funny. Move on."

Kane's petition also said Soderstrom had previously criticized other attorneys and prosecutors, and berated a member of the courthouse staff.

Soderstrom should be removed for reasons that include gross neglect of duty, gross partiality in office and oppression in office, Kane wrote.

The judge's four-year term ends in January 2027.

While campaigning to be a judge, her website stated: "Compassion is at the forefront of Traci's work with the clients of her legal practice because she understands it's sometimes what they need most."

Yesterday I watched a ts3 CAS video on youtube and it made me want to download heaps of CC so I racked my brain for a good excuse. I love making male sims in all the games so I originally thought of just making a few boys to live together.

Then it hit me:

Why don't I reboot my favorite household I ever made in ts3? They were a never-aging band called the FirEnds and I loved them. I played them constantly between 2012-2014, so I thought it could be fun to give them 2022 CC looks especially since I have no remaining CC left from that era of time. Unfortunately that means I can't do before & after pics although I'll throw in the only screenie I still have of all 4 of them. I never took screenshots back then, sadly.

They didn't even have CC skin because I made them at a time when I had no CC. Then they somehow ended up like this. But anyways let's get on to their 2022 reboots, shall we? I gave them CC skin but made no other changes to their faces. They were all covered in tattoos which I removed so that I have fresh canvases to tat up during play. I don't have very much male CC yet so I'll likely tweak them even more as I go.

Get ready for questionable names, long hair, and eyeliner. Had to keep them true to their 2012-2014 selves. I did my best to dress them the way they would have back then.

Manchester is the band's guitarist, but he is also a solo Vocal Legend. He has a preference for ultra-glam, big-busted blondes and would be a Romance aspiration were this sims 2. He's the most masculine of the group and sometimes isn't the most friendly. He cares deeply about his appearance and it's canon that he may have had an ED in the past.

Adrian is the band's drummer but also a World-Renowned Surgeon! He is extremely smart but tends to dumb himself down to match everyone around him. He's naturally blonde but has had every color and style hair imaginable. He's the only one of the 4 who had any significant long-term relationships. He fluctuates between a sort of muted-goth aesthetic and hot-pink drag queen. Those around him would describe him as having the biggest heart ever.

Name: Nicky Holmstedt

Sexuality: Does it matter if nobody ever wants him?

Nicky is the band's keyboardist and occasionally sells paintings on the side. Real jobs and actually working isn't his thing. Nicky started out with an aesthetic closer to Khristian's however as Adrian is the only person to actually understand him (his words, not mine), overtime he began mimicking Adrian's style and then put his own spin on it. He's had absolutely terrible luck with women. He smokes. He comfort eats. He likes cats. If sims had mental illness he'd be depressed.

It took me way too long to do this so I don't get to actually play tonight 😓 Tomorrow I'm going to make them potential partners to live in the world and then I think send them to university right away as opposed to at the very end like I did with their 2012-2014 equivalents. These 4 sims are clones of the originals so they have no relationships, no skills, no progress. However I do intend to take them down similar or identical paths to how they were. It's just their old save was a complete mess.
