KPT Lore: What About The Non-Attack Team Members?
Characters are from Kittypop Time, you can find her channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@Kittypoptime/featured
I don't actually think KPT has much of a fandom? Chip, the creator, and Oigma Jing are probably holding it up single-handedly.
But, of course, you can't stop Glue from touching a small fandom, so here I am, with a rant about the non-attack team members.
In one of KPT's old videos, a remake of the "Killing Butterflies" meme (there are THREE versions guys) that involves Victor as the main focus, we see a bracket (and also the spot where Victor ended up in the bracket... probably where he lost to his opponent). It's common knowledge that the members of the Hero Association were experimented on (by... probably scientists?). By seeing Victor's bracket, we know that there were originally 128 subjects (that is 128 children experimented on, with superpowers). He was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Now, from what we know currently, there are eleven people in the Hero Association. If Victor is in the Hero Association but is NOT part of the Attack Team, then we can safely assume that the three of all the top four (that's all semifinalists) are probably on the attack team, with the odd one out either being a villain or part of the Social Team.
This also means that, with eleven people in the Hero Association, most likely all quarterfinalists are in the Hero Association, and three particularly eye-catching subjects got tossed in. Maybe subjects without combat oriented abilities, like Gray and Ivy, but have support abilities that come in useful. It's also highly likely some of the semifinalists became the villains we know today, so maybe that explains why not all of the HA have incredibly offensive abilities.
This ALSO means that, despite there being a clear-cut offense-oriented team in the HA, all members are trained for combat. We already know that two of the finalists (Rose and Kitty) are in the attack team, so Mager was most likely a semifinalist, and Luna, Limm, and Lenna all have versatile abilities that can be used for offense or defense, so they were probably also very high in the bracket.
Then it gets confusing. If the HA is a culmination of the cream of the crop of this project, then they were all harvested from the upper parts of the bracket. So it leaves a question: how did Gray and Ivy get selected for the HA?
Here's a list of heroes and their abilities.
Kitty: Flight, regeneration Rose: Teleportation Mager: Telekinesis Luna: Superstrength Limm: Liquidizing, breathing underwater, swimming on surfaces (what? like, intangibility??) Lenna: Fire manipulation Gray: Technokinesis Ivy: Shapeshifting Victor: Plant manipulation Pipper: Size manipulation Light: Electric manipulation
See what I mean?
Okay, sure, but we know that Ivy can fight and is dangerous from the Tail meme. She can take an enemy down with just her tail, which is very sharp, and the Tail meme hinted that she can also shapeshift into non-human organisms. And the ability doesn't really equate to how strong the hero is; Kitty has essentially just flight and speed-healing, and she won the bracket.
That leaves Gray.
And really, Gray is the odd one out here. Everyone else can either fight or has a good ability, and we actually have no idea if Gray has either. We've never seen anything about him put into action, and we've actually never seen his ability on display before. What falls into Technokinesis, anyway? The internet defines it as the ability to manipulate machinery and software, but what we've seen of Gray really leans towards the latter. His weakness is mentioned to be loud noises, which can be easily manipulated by any of his opponents.
Technokinesis is also useless in battle, unless you have a weapon. Which brings us to a reasonable conclusion that Gray must've had some sort of weapon that enabled him to use his abilities to their full prowess; and you'd assume this would be his trademark, but it's not. He has no weapon, because he wouldn't need one as a support member.
And, by the way, is Gray capable of flight? We've only seen three characters in the KPT universe with wings: Kitty, Gray, and Mai. Kitty's capable of flight, but are the other two?
Flight physics require a specific body type, bone density, and wing type. Gray and Mai wouldn't be able to fly unless the scientists intended for them to, and Gray's wings aren't aerodynamic to begin with. I think we've seen Mai fly before, but Gray? His wings are always slouching, or bouncing along as he's running or leaping, like he can't even hold them up right. They're also situated strangely low on his back. Are those even wings? What are they? Transmitters???
So many questions, so little answers...

Note
Happier question time!!! If the crushes of the main boys somehow grew the ears and tails of the boys' favorite animals....what would they do?
Edd would play with Roxxis kitty ears and enjoy seeing her become docile from the pets. Than get bitten for trying to be dominate.
Matt would take a bunch of pictures of how cute Amanda looks with doggy ears and tail, bc she'd look adorable. (Or bat ears n tiny wings shes adorable either way)
Tom would think he's too drunk to still be conscious if he's seeing Susan with hedgehog ears n tail nub.
Tord would get mager "Hentai Dream" vibes seeing Annya with Goat/Sheet ears n tail fluff. Than drag her straight to his room.

Press Release:
She Has No Mouth is Pamela Rosenkranz’s inaugural solo exhibition at Sprüth Magers, Berlin, for which she has developed a new series of paintings and an installation with light, scent, and sound. The works continue her longstanding engagement with the biological and evolutionary underpinnings of art, her investigation of materiality and immateriality, pigments and pheromones, microbes, colors, and scents.
Rosenkranz probes the sensory stimulations that have triggered “hard-wired” responses in humans since prehistoric times. She mines these malleable codes that have been manipulated in contemporary consumer culture, by commercial enterprises such as the fashion and perfume industries. Rosenkranz starts, in a series of new paintings, with the tabby patterns of cats. Often evoking images of “sexiness” and sensual attraction, their stripes and patterns have emerged through complex evolutionary processes – the camouflaged surface of their fur simulates the light and shadows of their original habitat. More than 60 years ago, Alan Turing published a visionary paper on the mathematics of patterns that were repeated regularly in nature, but it is only recently that biologists have begun to uncover evidence of the patterning mechanisms that Turing proposed. It is known that tabby patterns not only trigger fight or flight responses in humans – to whose primordial ancestors, cats were a natural enemy – but that they also signal sexual and cultural dominance. The paintings on view develop a method that Rosenkranz has used previously: she applies layers of transparent skin-tone acrylic paint to cutouts of photographs that resulted from a Google Image search, covering the image with a three-dimensional and porous ‘skin’. The paint she uses replicates skin tones as well as the sand and earth hues native to the sub-Saharan African landscape where cats first hunted men, and where human language and culture emerged.
In her multi-sensory installation, Rosenkranz uses light to create a supernatural version of a “high noon blue” that reactivates our evolutionary environment on an affective and sensual level. The installation focuses not only on the evolutionary but also the microbiological relationship between the cat and human species. The work disperses a perfume that contains the pheromone Civetone – a strong, musky odor that is frequently incorporated in perfumes, and synthesizes the territorial markings made by big cats. When humans domesticated cats, an intimate relationship was formed between the two species, creating a stage for the transmission and reproduction of neuroactive parasites. This installation builds on Rosenkranz’s recent work Infection at the Prada Foundation Milan, which was about “Toxoplasmosis”: an infection caused from a widespread neuroactive parasite that we, and other mammals, share with cats. It is estimated that 30% of the world’s population is infected by the parasite, and it is said to influence human behaviors as diverse as physical attraction, fear, spending habits, and fondness of cats.
The show further activates the cat’s characteristic “meow”. Domesticated cats only started to make this sound in adulthood, so that they might become more attractive to humans. “Cuteness” became an evolutionary survival strategy that enhanced the suitability of pets as companions for humans. She Has No Mouth examines the intertwined evolutionary and cultural processes that have shaped the relationship between cats and humans. Initially, cats were the hunters of prehistoric humans and thus proved to be an unrelenting threat to our existence. They have since been anthropomorphized, domesticated and, culturally speaking, developed as a symbol for cuteness. Evolutionary biologist Stephen Jay Gould has noted that so-called “neotenic features”, (juvenile features that enhance “cuteness” in babies) trigger feelings of affection and nurturing in humans. The title of the exhibition alludes to Hello Kitty – a Japanese comic character and global marketing phenomenon that generates $7 billion per year through merchandise. Hello Kitty does not have a mouth; so that “consumers can project their intimate feelings and emotions onto the fictional character”.
Pamela Rosenkranz (*1979 in Uri, Switzerland) lives and works in Zurich. She has held solo exhibitions at institutions including GAMeC, Bergamo (upcoming); Cisterna, Fondazione Prada, Milan (both 2017); the Swiss Pavilion at 56th International Art Exhibition, Venice Biennale (2015); Kunsthalle Basel (2012); Centre d’Art Contemporain, Geneva (2010); Swiss Institute, Venice (2009).
