SHORT — Kyou Tsugunaga (01)

Originally Written: 07-15-20

Prompt: Look, just let me give Kyou a spa-day, just pamper him to death and force him to have a relaxing time. I have some more angsty ideas for later, but let's have some fluff for now.

Apparently, you're going to force him to relax. 

At least, that's what seems to be happening. 

Kyou knows that his health is a problem. He's been slowly getting sicker for the past five years while he's been working with Oracle, and in all honesty, he knows he's headed down a bad path. But there's no reason for you to worry about him so much. He's not that important. You aren't going to be able to solve anything, so why bother trying?

Today's his day off. As in, the day that Kyou's pretty sure you got for him via paying off one of his bosses. It's the first day off he's had in longer than he can remember. If he'd been alone, Kyou would have spent it face-down in his bed, sleeping like the dead. 

Instead, you have him over at your apartment— far nicer than his own. You're also making him take a bath, which apparently entails you having to be in the room with him. 

It's awkward enough to be unclothed in front of you. Even though the soapy water (thanks to your lavender-scented bubble bath) hides anything too embarrassing, Kyou knows that you can see just how skinny he's getting and how pale. You can see how the line of his collarbone is as sharp as a blade, how his arms are stick-thin, how every one of his vertebrae stands out in uneven lumps protruding from his skin. 

"Is it okay if I wash your hair?" Your voice jolts Kyou out of his pessimistic spiraling. 

"If you want to," he sighs. It's not that he doesn't want you to, not exactly. It's more like the idea of you getting any closer is kind of embarrassing. 

Kyou had thought that he'd outgrown the feeling of shame by now thanks to his years of crushing his pride to scrape by at work, but apparently not. When it comes to you, he always feels like he should be better than he is. 

Someone like him doesn't make a very good boyfriend. 

The next thing Kyou feels is a hand on his shoulder. 

"Quit thinking sad things. I can tell by your face that you're being all down on yourself." Because you're too kind for anyone's good, you lean in and kiss Kyou's cheek. 

Kyou feels himself flush. On your instruction, he turns in the bathtub so that his back is facing you. This requires tucking his legs up to his chest, which... makes him feel weirdly small. Kyou buries his face against his knees. He's embarrassed in a way that's hard to process. The idea of you washing his hair, of that much contact, is intimidating. 

But within the moment, your hands are in his wet hair, pulling it back and out of his face. The feeling of your fingers brushing against his neck makes Kyou shiver. With a squirt of shampoo into your palm, you rub your hands together, then bring them to Kyou's hair. First, all you do is rub it in. Kyou's hair goes down to his shoulder blades by now. He hasn't had it cut in a while, so there's plenty for you to work with. 

By the time you start massaging his scalp, Kyou is already starting to feel dizzy— and not from the heat. His body heaves out a dry little cough. It's the kind that hurts. 

With a worried hum, you drag your fingertips along the sides of Kyou's head, right behind his ears. It feels so good that Kyou can't help but sigh. He's glad he's not facing you right now. He's glad that you can't see his face. Slowly, his eyes flutter closed. 

"Alright, gonna rinse it out."

What gets Kyou's attention this time is you reaching up for the showerhead. Rinsing his hair out is a warm, spine-tingling process that involves a lot more touching. 

Kyou thinks that you might be spending a little more time on it than is necessary. 

When you're done, Kyou feels a lot like he's melting. His breathing is still catching a little bit, like usual, but the heat and steam are doing him some good. He feels a little bit less sick than usual... but at the same time, overwhelmed by how much touching you're doing. 

"Can I wash your face next? If that's okay?" Your smile is way too bright. 

"...why do you want to?" Kyou turns to face you. He knows his voice sounds dead. 

"Well... I wanted today to be kind of a spa day for you. As best as I can do. I got the lavender-scented stuff just for you, I've planned this and a bunch of other things, and... I just want to see you relax a bit." You explain it so easily, as if you're not just wasting your time. Kyou digs his nails into his palm. He's too tired to say no. 

"Do what you want. If you want to spoil me so much... fine." It's stupid. Getting attached is foolish. You'll be done with a pawn like him in no time, moved on to someone better. But... for now, Kyou just wants to feel your hands on him a little bit more.

Your expression is so happy that it almost hurts to look at. 

"Great! When you get out of the bath, I have this aromatherapy stress-relief lotion that I got for you, and I can brush your hair out when it dries. I have face cream too, to help with the dark circles, and once we've done all that, I got a mystery movie for us to watch— and plenty of snacks!" You sound so excited. Just listening to you is making Kyou feel sort of overwhelmed. People aren't supposed to be this nice to him. It's not normal.

But the next thing Kyou knows, you're tipping his head up to face you with two fingers under his chin. You have a washcloth with a little dribble of mint-scented face-cleaner on it, and... having you look him in the eyes like this is making it hard to breathe. 

For reasons that aren't just because of his lungs.

Hiroyuki — Whiny boy. Most of his sex noises are either whiny moans or loud, needy whimpers. He's prone to begging when he's overwhelmed, and his louder moans can get sort of "stuck" coming out and end in a squeak instead. Kyou — He's generally pretty quiet, with only soft whines and low, breathy moans escaping. Since he gets out of breath easily, he has to focus on staying calm, and that means that he rarely gets a lot of volume to his noises. Anything loud that does come out is raspy and a little bit rough, and can sometimes send him into a coughing fit.

Xane — Pretty normal, overall. He's not too loud or too quiet, and he doesn't really try to hold his noises back. The most unique thing is that his moans get shaky when he's close to coming— in a way that sounds like he's about to cry. He's also prone to mumbling praises and thanks to whoever he's with... and sometimes actually crying.

Hisa — He starts off biting his lip and determined not to let any "lewd" noises slip out... but as he gets closer to coming, he gets loud. Hisa's the type to squeal and shriek and moan like a whore at once he's too far gone to preserve his dignity, and when he's really overwhelmed, it's not a stretch for him to break down in tears.

Kegare — Thanks to having to be extremely careful not to be overheard any time he's gotten himself off, Kegare is quiet. He's too scared to let much noise out, so shaky little gasps and bitten-off moans are usually the most you'll get out of him. However, when he's brave enough to stop holding back, he can be much louder...

Kyou is an EXCELLENT cook, he just never has time/energy to do it for himself. He misses when he could have actual homemade meals instead of whatever's quickest and takes the least effort.

The whole "mystery helper" thing has been leaving him a nervous wreck. Even though Hiroyuki is grateful, he's still scared to death of what you might ask in return— and eventually, it'll be something. When he finds out who you are and the kindness only continues, he's confused. No one's ever been this nice to him before, and he can't find a single reason why you'd bother with someone as powerless and boring as him. But he's grateful, he really, really is. Those little acts of kindness keep him going.

Kyou

For how long he's been with Oracle, Kyou knows that nothing comes free in that world. He's too tired to try to stop the help, though, too grateful for anything resembling a break to bring himself to fight it. When he finds out who you are and nothing changes, that's the part that comes as a shock. It feels impossible that someone could be so set on helping his sorry self. But again, he doesn't have the energy or will to protest. All he can do is pray that your kindness won't come with some horrible price.

Xane

It unsettles him, in a way. Xane is used to being the one looking out for other people, so having a mystery stranger seemingly dead-set on taking care of him feels weird. And of course, he can't stop thinking about it. When he does find out who you are, though, he almost wishes he didn't know. It's harder to face the person who's doing so much for him than he thought, and every time, he feels like he's withering under your kindness. He's grateful, but his anxiety insists he doesn't deserve any of it.

Well, this depends on what type of asexual we're talking about. Because, as an asexual person myself, I know that partaking in horny stuff isn't always off the table. XD I'll write things out for two types, and which boys would do best with them!

Touru — If anything, it's a little easier for him to deal with a mostly non-sexual relationship. As much as he'd like that stuff, Touru also finds the idea vaguely terrifying. Kyou — Because of how sick he is, aggressive, passionate sex is kind of off the table anyway. So long as you don't mind him taking care of himself when he needs it, Kyou is pretty self-sufficient. Christian — Honestly, before getting out of the house, his only real knowledge about sex amounted to "a thing people do to make babies". He's far more attached to the idea of romance, anyway, so a relationship with little to no horniness works for him just fine. He's content with mere fluffy stuff if that's all you want from him.

712 — Considering that he's highly receptive to orders, has only had bad experiences with sex before, and doesn't normally make choices for himself, 712 will be fine. If you don't initiate anything, he never will either, and he's perfectly content with it staying that way. He's a lot more focused on pleasing you than anything outright sexual.

"Will still do horny things but does not have The Feelings"

Shigure — He's well aware that it's gross, but to Shigure, him being a disgusting pervert while you're completely unaffected is actually pretty hot. He's horny enough that he's best off if you'll still do things to take care of him, but making it clear that you're not turned on at all affects him in ways he's embarrassed to admit. It works out great!

Creed — Up until you, he never had those feelings either, so Creed understands where you're coming from. He has a high enough libido now that he (shamefully) needs some help, but he doesn't have a problem with you not feeling anything in regards to it. So long as he's fulfilled enough not to be distracted, whatever works for you is fine.

Xane — He's also one who favors an emotional connection over sexual. While Xane does want some sexual contact (although this could be debated), he's fine with it if you're only doing it for his sake. It won't bother him if you don't get turned on or don't want to be touched. He's just grateful that you're compromising with him.

Normally, Kyouko is too tired to care if people bother her. It’s bound to happen, so why should she make a big deal out of it? It actually somewhat frustrates her when you try to protect her. You’re just putting yourself in danger over someone who hardly gives a shit, in the first place. But the longer you make an effort to look after her, the more Kyouko warms up to it. No one’s ever really tried to help her before, and there’s something reassuring about your presence and guarding. 

Xavia

At the same time that she’s grateful, Xavia feels kind of guilty. Before she got transferred, she was always the one protecting people. Being in a situation where someone else has to do the same for her makes her feel like she’s become way too weak, and that she’s relying on you more than she should. Xavia will try to stand up for and protect you as well, even though she’s clearly more nervous about it than you are. She doesn’t want to be a burden or a waste of your time, after all.

Yasha (6′1) — He is just so embarrassed. He’s too big! He’ll hurt you! Creed (5′10) — As you’d expect, he has very few feelings on the matter beyond a somewhat snarky comment that it doesn’t seem like his place to be seated on your lap. He doesn’t care enough to protest, though... and soon finds out that being on your lap gives him weird fluttery feelings in his chest. After that, he’s going to bolt pretty quickly to escape the parts of himself that want to cling. 

Kyou (5′10) — Sure, whatever. It’s going to be embarrassing, but it’s not like he has the energy to try to say no. Kyou definitely feels awkwardly big when he tries to sit on your lap... but it’s also really comfortable. He winds up relaxing quite a bit while just leaning against you, especially if you rub his back and talk to him about nonsense things. It’s a very calming position for him. 

Shigure (5′9) — Of course, he has plenty of complaints. He’s too big, he’ll squish you, you won’t like his dirty hair being in your face, you’ll hate it, and so on. Eventually, he’ll cave, though, and once he’s actually in your lap, Shigure goes from complaining to whining about how embarrassing it is. He hides his face because he doesn’t want you to see him all red and flustered.

Lucius — He’s a big step down from the top three, but Lucius definitely has a high perversion level. He’s very aggressive with his sexuality and has issues with getting very carried away when he’s desperate. 

Hiroyuki — He hides it well, but his mind definitely goes places. When he has a partner, Hiroyuki turns into quite the needy guy. Part of it is a desire for intimacy, but part of it is just him getting all desperate. 

Kegare — While he doesn’t show it often and has had it pretty stifled, Kegare feels everything strongly. Once he’s attached to someone, he starts thinking all kinds of perverted things about them... and hates it. 

Ritsu — He’s a horny teenager, what do you expect? Ritsu’s not bad in terms of perversion and acting on it, but he’s very easy to turn on and very easy to convince to do perverted things while he’s like that.

Xane — He’s usually pretty okay, but there are definitely moments where his sex drive gets the better of him. However, he’s more likely to think perverted things than have the courage to act on them in any way. 

Creed — With him, it really varies. If it’s before his “awakening”, Creed is at the bottom of the list. However, once his sex drive has kicked in, he’d be much closer to the top. Everything falls apart once he has feelings.

Kyou — Generally, he’s not much of a pervert at all. He can have his moments, but constantly feeling like utter shit does a lot to keep the sexual thoughts at bay. That, and he can control himself pretty well. 

Kai — Because of the trauma he’s been through, perversion doesn’t come too well to him. Naturally, Kai might have been different, but he’s fucked up enough by now that that possibility has kind of been ruined. 

Alistair — He’s another one who’s just innocent. Once he has more knowledge, Alistair gets somewhat worse, but he’s still sheltered and shy enough to never get too far in terms of sexual need or perversion. 

Touru — Again, he has his moments, but generally, he’s much too shy to think much about sex. He’s not particularly perverted mostly because he’s so embarrassed by it all that he shuts himself down. 

Yasha — It’s not to say that he doesn’t have sexual thoughts... but the guilt outweighs them by a lot. Yasha intentionally shuts off any part of himself that thinks like that because of how awful it makes him feel. 

Arashi — While he does have some level of desire, open sexuality makes him pretty uncomfortable. Arashi struggles with expressing his feelings at all in that regard, and he tends to be very embarrassed by it. 

Christian — He’s about as ignorant as it gets when it comes to anything sexual. Perverted thoughts don’t even occur to him. Christian is the type who’s so innocent he’d refer to sex as “making love”. 

712 — He barely even knows what sex is. Perversion is completely out of 712′s comprehension. When it comes to those things, he does what he’s told and not much else... and prefers cuddles and praise anyway.

For best effects, blindfold him. Being made to feel everything while unable to tell what’s happening does a lot to 712. The heat and sheer sensation have him squirming, so being ordered to stay still during makes it quite the challenge. He doesn’t know how it happens, but while the heated wax drips down sensitive areas of his skin... he finds himself getting turned on. Expect an embarrassed, whimpering boy at that point. 

Creed

He has no idea why he likes it, but something about the heat and visuals drives him wild. Maybe it’s because there’s a strong physical sensation to match the mental and sexual ones? Creed doesn’t know. He’s willing to go pretty far with it too (since he kind of lacks a fear response), so higher temperature or using it on more delicate places isn’t off-limits. The little bit of pain actually makes it more intense for him.

Oracle boys' reacting to accidentally running into and knocking over their new superior? The superior apologizes for being in the boys' way, saying "I should know better than to be standing around in the middle of the hallway! This is entirely my own fault. I'm so sorry!" They aren't angry with the boys in the slightest and, after they get up off the ground, they give a gesture of "You can go ahead first" to the boys.

Hiroyuki

From the moment he crashes into you, Hiroyuki is on the verge of a panic attack. He’s going to be in so much trouble. He’s apologizing profusely within seconds, to the point where you have to interrupt him just to get a word in edgewise. Hearing you put the blame on yourself stuns him. No one at Oracle passes up a chance to hold someone lower than them in their debt, so why are you being different? The lack of anger is a huge relief, but it’s still frightening in its own way. He scurries off nervously after that, praying that it won’t come back to bite him later. 

Kyou

As soon as he realizes what he just did, Kyou is mentally smacking himself. Now he’s going to be in trouble. He helps you up quickly, all while internally trying not to panic... then gets a huge shock when you pass the blame right onto yourself. That’s not normal at all. Kyou doesn’t exactly believe that you’re serious, but he’s also not going to question it. He doesn’t want to mess up even further, especially not while you seem to be in a forgiving mood. He gives a quick, vaguely nervous nod and goes on his way. It’s better to get out of the situation than make it worse. 

Xane

Xane freezes up after he knocks you over. He wants to apologize and help you up, but his anxiety is kicking in and he can’t make himself move. He feels like he’s going to have a panic attack then and there, because not paying attention is bad. When you show no signs of being upset, though, it almost makes him even more nervous. Xane pulls it together enough to apologize in return and try to insist that it was his fault out of politeness... but his protests don’t last long when you insist. He’s shaken afterward, but incredibly grateful that he’s not in trouble for the accident.
