it's very interesting seeing people analyze aventurine like this (as well as other characters) while I thought it was plain obvious and didn't need to be explained at all and, well, apparently people do need explanations.

me reading all kinds of in depth analysis of aventurine: dont we... all feel like this like... most of the time? why do- ooooh *finger guns* *winks*

What exactly is "your true value" to Aventurine? Does it relate/go against to being used? Do we get to prove our "worth"?

The topic of worth seems to be a recurring theme in Aventurine's story- from his sense of self-loathing and worthlessness, to his material wealth, to how he views relationships ("friends", always shoving money into your arms), and how people perceive others in terms of commodity and deals. He also seems to expect being used in return of using others or the other way around.
