i have my thoughts on fma 03 (spoilers up until episode 32? 33? i dont remember but its around that)
dont get it at all when people say fma 03 is worse or better than brotherhood. i love the aesthetics and art direction they went with in for 03, and i love that it goes into depth for more of the characters and i love all of the little interactions they have. if i had to choose which scenes id add into brotherhood from 03, id definitely say the introductory train scene, the scene at lab5 with ed and maria and . its not really a scene but i love love love how izumis character was more explored especially with wrath. i LOVE how we get to see the lengths that shed go to to protect the people she loves and the fact that she wanted to have a family too. they forget to elaborate on that in brotherhood.
brotherhood is still good as well because, even with the fact that more characters are explored in 03, the sound design and compositions were just. oh my god. the scene for hughes death was slightly different compared to brotherhood, but in such a way that brotherhood makes you stay on the edge of your seat. yes brotherhood is lacking in content compared to 03. it is still so fucking awesome. theres so many iconic scenes and characters and a lot of the scenes left and impact on me. back to 03, i love wrath SO much. i wish that he was kept in for brotherhood even though it wouldnt really make sense. maria was better portrayed and just made me love her character so much more than i used to. i also love that they dont just have sheska as a one off character either, and that we actually see what happens at her job.
i dont consider either series to be better, theyre both amazing in their own ways and lack in certain parts that make up for eachother. though, im not good at organizing my thoughts so just take this ramble with a grain of salt

soooo the exercise in our informatics/elecro(nics?) class is like lab5: experiment 1,... experiment 7, how to(generalisation, in each lab different things, eg differentiating in matlab and whatnot):...; lab6: experiment1,..., experiment 4, working with virtual devices (which I THOUGHT WAS AND IT REALLY WAS A HOW TO BC IT DIDN'T HAVE DO THIS AND FYRTHER ANALISE THAT) but after I submitted everything I got 40% and the question "where's the working with virtual devices" and I'm like huh. What. WASN'T THIS A HOW TO SECTION????? IN ANY CASE I DID FUCKING INCLUDE THE VIRTUAL DEVICES IN THE EXPERIMENTS RIGHT LIKE THEY WERE NOT COMPLICATED THIS TIME???? WTFFFFF

Soil and Water Conservation Methods in Agroforestry
As a consequence of increasing population and changing climate, the planet's limited natural resources are under tremendous strain. Soil erosion is one of the current consequences.
Soil and Water Conservation (SWC) measures are utilized to address the problem on the scarcity of water and soil erosion in agroforestry systems.
Several types of efforts to minimize soil erosion through adopted SWC methods have been conducted. This is for the purpose of preserving and conserving our natural resources to guarantee that future generations will still be able to access and utilize them.
Again, for a profound example on SWC, below are information from the BS Forestry students' study on the same Agro-farm.
The students visited the Multi-story Agroforestry Farm in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte again. This time, to observe and determine the Soil and Water Conservation measures applied by the owners in the area.
Upon observation, they found that the owners are implementing these SWC measures unknowingly:
1. Check Dams
The students observed pieces of sticks that forms a fence, the purpose is to slow down the water flow during heavy rainfall, further preventing surface soil to be washed away along with the water.
While is is useful during months that are rainy, this has the disadvantage of not being sustainable year round because the agroforestry farm doesn’t have water source aside from rainfall. The owners rely on natural phenomenon for water and this check dam does not address the problem of water scarcity.
2. Vegetation Establishment
Vegetation Establishment acts as water sponge as the roots of the vegetation keeps holds the soil and acts as storage of water. There are several layers of the canopy that can be observed in the site which composed of the Ipil-ipil, Yemane, and agricultural crops and other grasses. The presence of abundant tree species helps in holding water thus minimizing the occurrence of soil erosion.
This measure is the most natural way since it mimics the appearance of a forest ecosystem that has less occurrence of soil erosion and has water banks in terms of root system of the vegetation. It is also cost-effective because some of the species that are suggestion to be utilized are the fast-growing species such as ipil-ipil and kakawate. It also includes little or no maintenance and you can also utilize the vegetation for other purposes since they can also be harvested when suggestion or needed. For these reasons, the students noted that this is the best SWC measure than is applied on this certain farm.
The disadvantage in this measure is that it is not being implemented properly by the owners because they are unknowingly implementing it. It is important that the owners understand the principles of agroforestry for them to utilize the knowledge to have a better management in the area.
After the study, the students note that it is important that we continue to give and take knowledge and practices for our mutualistic benefits especially so that agroforestry farm owners and managers establish these for livelihood. Thus, we should also consider the impact of this to global climate change and soil and water conservation and technology as we continue to promote the development of soil and water conservation in every agroforestry farm.

Uniaxial Tensile Test
DISCLAIMER: i post this in hope it is a helpful guide/for desperate times when you need some guidance. remember our honor code. remember this trust i put in you.
if you wanna see my full report just drop me a dm. ill share it gladly one surviving bear to another.
Graded: 13/15
Comments: Great intro and description of features/regions of stress-strain curves. This could be made a lot more clear by including a figure!
Uniaxial tensile tests are a common way to observe and test the elastic and plastic deformation of materials. These tests are often carried out with a (hydraulic) machine that applies an increasing amount of load to a sample while simultaneously elongating the sample, holding one end stationary1. The applied load and change in length of the sample are monitored. Usually, the sample is destructively tested until failure to better understand the limits of the material tested.
Data from uniaxial tensile tests are incredibly useful to understanding the material, and can be manipulated to provide various information. With the knowledge of the sample’s initial length and initial cross sectional area (or diameter), the engineering stress and engineering strain can be computed by dividing the force applied by the initial cross sectional area and the change in length by the initial length respectively2. From the stress-strain graph of the material, we are able to view how the sample changes elastically (non-permanent) and then plastically. Based on the initial linear change associated with the stress-strain graph, the gradient of the slope, the Young’s Modulus (E) of the material, can be calculated. The Poisson's ratio (v), the relative ratio between the strain in two perpendicular directions, can also be calculated. The ultimate tensile strength of the material, the highest point in the stress-strain graph, can also be determined, and is important in acknowledging the maximum stress/strain the material can take before necking and fracture occurs. Charpy impact testing is also another way to test materials by measuring notch toughness, and is most commonly used to observe the ductile-to-brittle transition in materials. The ductile-to-brittle transition is the sudden change in a material’s ductile property below a certain temperature.
In this experiment, a variety of samples were tested. AISI 1020 plain carbon steel (0.2 wt% C), AISI 4340 alloy steel (Ni, Cr, Mo, 0.4 wt% C) and 2024-T3 aluminum alloy were tested with uniaxial tensile tests and Rockwell hardness tests to understand its deformation and failure. Charpy impact testing was done on A36 steel at two different temperatures to better understand it’s ductile-to-brittle transition.

Their head again cocked to the side, why did they know that word.
Place? What was that?
Eyes widened ever so slightly when Kain wound it back up and the sounded began again. Their tail unfurled swishing side to side like a metrenom delighted by the tune, a light purr started rumbling.
Reaching again to hold it a raggedy sleeve pulled back, a bright yellow identification band rested around the Chimera's wrist, although dirty the Amestrian writing on it was still quite visible. On one side it read SD- 0170 and if turned one would find AMS*CENTRAL- LAB5 written cleanly in black.
Amestrees?
Their head raised slightly for a moment at the mention of it, almost in recognition before going back to the box.
Something about it sounded familiar but why? This man looked and smelled nothing like the White Coats so they couldn’t have had anything to do with that.
And what was this freend they spoke of.
To many questions, unasked and unanswered.
Their tongue flicked once again,
When the music began to slow, winding down the Chimera’s eyes lowered saddened as the soft tune came to an end, the same way See-yous had.
Resting their head on their arm they let out a small noise. disappointed believing that to be the end of the lovely tune
