2 updates on the bug situation. 1 it looks like the guy i set aside is pupating!! exciting!! 2 is a cricket got in last night and it took me sooo many tries and i had to take great pains not to squidh it and a lot of time but i eventually managed 2 pick the little guy up and let him outside completely unharmed!! all his legs n everything! the grubs worked!!! and ill only get better hopefully. i think this is good for my fine motor skills! thank you grubs your sacrifice (being picked up by a guy you think is gonna eat you) saved someones life. he wouldve starved to death in my house or gotten hurt or killed while being taken outside if i couldnt use my hands directly like i did.

I’ve been informed that isolating the larvae without food might not be best for them, so I suppose a small chunk of carrot with each when isolated? I’ve had good results without food, but then again I typically only pupate larvae that are starting to wander like they’re going to pupate soon…
