Good news everyone!

Direct URLs to orders on the queue are functioning properly again! (Trello bug I found & reported). Easier to check on progress now

Black vinyl is restocked! Enough for 200 shirts—it's a base layer used to stabilize & add durability to cut designs

So Avian Invasion's birthday is Sunday the 10th & he's GoH at Furnal Equinox. I'm going up to his place in Seattle this weekend & staying till we fly out Thursday

Therefore this week is vinyl-focused & next week I'm working remote, creating templates (signs & printed shirts)

Did a pop-up livestream yesterday! I put together an all new setup for showcasing the vinyl workstation. Support did get back to me about the machine's tension issue; I have a workable solution for now & was able to resume cutting again after a bunch of experimenting. Got a batch of my oldest signs on the queue completed!

Big camping trip that's been in the works for a couple of years is finally happening today! Photo is of the "Tree of Life" along the beach of the Pacific Northwest USA & I'm going out to visit again before it fully collapses.

I'll be back in the lab Monday... & I may have been secretly synthesizing something special for pride month 🌈㊙️

WHEW, I really pushed myself today... managed to get all remaining orders from FWA (Saturday & Sunday) fully processed! That was a solid ten hours of non-stop work

I ended up getting more new orders crossed off in the past two days than I ever been able to before, within a week of coming home from a con... it means the new system is working & I'll be able to apply it to the FE & LVFC orders next!

Now I can finally finish laundry & make dinner... oops it's almost 1am 😑

Had a really frustrating start this morning, but all Friday FWA orders have now been processed!

This means they've been added to the Trello, packing slips printed, clients contacted, & work orders for all printed shirts (excluding hybrid Metamorphics) have be submitted to the little local shop I'm partnered with

In addition to this, I finally finished creating & uploading the new "Rise" shirt templates for all color palette options in all sizes

A satisfying rainbow (& amount) of handcrafted UV & glow in the dark Metamorphic shirts completed!

Most of the vinyl shirts ordered from BLFC, MFF, ANW, & FC are now crossed off my list ✅

I used to be more capable of this kind of output; that's why a big batch of orders after a con hadn't been a problem

When I am suddenly unable or prevented from doing work for long periods of time... I had been saying "frustrated", but I think "distraught" would be more accurate

This is adjustment #4 of my "Rise" shirt design, but I'm finally calling it complete!

Took me awhile to identify all the problem areas & find a balance in line weight for both DTF printing & UV-reactive vinyl versions

The printed version is now on my Etsy store! You can choose from 9 pre-set color palettes in sizes from XS to 6XL

Flying back from Furnal Equinox now! Tuesday is jetlag recovery, Wednesday I drive 3 more hours to home

Continuing design templates for active orders while still remote (even working on the plane). Trello updates soon to follow

I took advantage of a Black Friday sale to purchase a new cutting machine! 🎉

I'm switching ecosystems again, which means learning new software as well. When I return from MFF, oh we're putting this bad girl to work.

New machine is so fast/quiet & works amazingly! Also FINALLY got the warranty replacement on my machine that broke in Oct

I can now return to the crossing sign project! 🚸

I intend to finish adding LVFC clients to my Trello queue first, then continue processing FE orders with missing info & reviewing other messages as my ability/spoons/time allows

"Bird" was the first Metamorphic decal I ever finished, right before the pandemic lockdown. Back when I didn't know what I was doing with my software, my process, my direction…

So 4 years & 80+ species later, I finally gave my oldest one the makeover it deserved ✨

My 3 oldest orders are a Parrot, a Fox, & a Sled Dog. All 3 were refurbished over the weekend (Bird the most dramatically), meaning all orders that share these body parts are also now in production!

It's a cascade effect that lets me chip away at my queue from both ends 👌

Most won't take all day like the bird, but it was worth it for the effect it had on ten other designs!

Thanks for your patience & support with the rough year I had… I really wanted to give my oldest orders the attention & quality they truly deserve, make it worth the wait 💜

This pile represents 84 cut designs for nearly all the vinyl shirts currently on my queue (42 shirts, double-layered)

Planning the layout takes time, as I try to make full use of the material to create less waste
