Child's Play 2 (1990)
This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.
Child's Play 2 has two scenes of thunderstorms at night, with bright and severe strobes of lightning. Spinning-style police car lights create mild to moderate strobe effects in some scenes.
There are some spinning shots that may be disorienting, but these shots never last very long.
Flashing Lights: 7/10. Motion Sickness: 3/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: There is bloody violence, and non-human gore. A child is the victim of both violence and gaslighting.

Child's Play (2019)
My rating: 6/10
Actually quite creepy in the middle, and then it ends with an appropriately cathartic explosion of horrific violence. I've never seen the original Child's Play, but this one's pretty good.
