Icy idols

Ok so funny thing, like last winter i was thinking about pop-star Icy AU. And it's so different from Hun(Trix) au that i just HAVE to tell you

So, in my headcanons when Icy was like 7, she had a slight dream of becoming a pop star, like, who didn't dream about it? I did for sure lol. She was thinking that it would be cool, you "just" sing, and people love and adore you. Once she told her mom about it. And her mother who usually was supportive of almost anything she wanted, said that she won't allow it, and that she can do better than this.

And like then her family dies and stuff, and Icy goes to Clout Tower and we all know how it goes

But in the Idol Icy AU her family didn't die, Icy's power didn't develop enough, she wasn't doing great at school, and she decided to become a pop star anyway. He mom of course was not happy about it and said something like if you gonna do it, then never come back,and Icy took that seriously.

She got lucky and became popular extrimely fast, but turned out life of the idol isn't that easy, she has to be perfect picture, never do or say, or even think of something that would be considered inappropriate by the community (literally everything), and she doesn't even get to sing songs that she likes or wear costumes she likes. She's just a doll that other people dress up and put on stage to perform a perfect picture.

Tho, Icy LOVES to be on stage, to sing (even if she doesn't really like the song, the fact that people like it is enough to enjoy it too), she loves to interact with fans on concerts or other events, but once she's out of the public eye - she hates herself, her life and wants to die. She regrets leaving her family and wants to come back, but is afraid that her mother would reject her, and that it will ruin her reputation and her career, and she would be left with nothing. So she lives on stage and barely exists behind it.

would be silly if i have already told you about this au tho, lol, because i can't remember doing it, but this text seems oddly familiar, maybe because i was thinking about it like half a year now...

Others in this AU. Darcy is still Icy's friend, but they don't meet very often. Stormy can be her bodyguard or something, but they barely know each other. I thought that Stella may be her stylist and they can actually have relatively nice (mostly working) relationships. Other Winx - idk, don't see them being around. Musa may be around in the producer group or a musician, or even fellow idol, but she and Icy also don't interact much.

Bloom... it's hard. Without the Trix (and with Icy's family being alive, trust me, that's tied in some way) she may never learn about magic and stuff... But hey we can allow higher seasons stuff for once... That old fairy from season 7, Eldora or something? She could've introduce Bloom to magic world once she's older. And Bloom may even become friends with Stella and the other girls, and she won't even have to lie about her to get into the school!

And we can sneak in some Blicy here... that would be difficult, but possible...

Like... Darcy for once took Icy out in Magix, since she's witch of illusions, she has no trouble keeping their walks in secret, and this is where Icy meets Bloom. Bloom isn't that much in Idol culture, but she listens to some of Icy songs, along some other. I don't know how their relationships would develop though...

Maybe Stella would introduce them later officially, since Bloom is her friend... Yeeaaahh this may work...

Icy’s hair is definitely longer than Darcy’s. Could you do a quick sketch of Icy as she is seen with floor length hair after letting down her ponytail? For her, it is probably at night so Darcy and Stormy wouldn’t step on it by accident.

Okay so. What if Rumi's demon part at some point got tired of being suppressed and made Rumi little bit quirky like that

Like, she would feel the need to consume souls, but since she's not connected to Gwi-Ma through deal or something, all energy from the consumed soul goes to her. And of course her demon part feels amazing. So this rollercoaster of HUNGER and EUPHORIA would a little bit severely fuck her up. Mentally.

Also, i was listening to butcher's vanity when i came up with this, so, who knows the song may guess where it gonna go next (this is your warning)

Because somehow i imagined Rumi in this role.

So yeah she's little bit quirky with consuming souls - and by that i mean shes EATING PEOPLE 💔💔💔 woops i said it.

So, to everyone she's a perfect k-pop star, to her friends she's Rumi, workaholic who doesn't know how to relax and stuff...

But to herself she's a monster.

There's two variants, she either accepted this part of herself and rolling with it, kind of her demon part consumed her human part, or there's more personality disorder type of shit happening, where her "normal" self and "demon" self are almost two different people in the same body.

which one i like more depends on my mood lol, rn i like the first variant more, for fun and more psychopathic Rimi, who is just quirky like that. And second one ifs for soulcrushing ANGST and SELFHATE as if she wasn't hating herself enough
