i always have a weird thing about my OCs, like I've convinced myself that no one cares but me. which is stupid because i love seeing and reading about everyone else's characters!!

here's some stuff about her that I don't think i've posted before:

Lamia died failing to protecting her children and her home. With the last of her energy she made a desperate pact for more time/power with the Raven Queen, whom she was a devout priestess of. Instead of healing her then and there, the inscrutable Raven Queen raised her 1000 years in the future. During the campaign, Lamia was able to revisit the ruins of her home. There she found messages left behind by her daughter, who had actually survived and never stopped looking for her

Lamia is not her real name, it's a pseudonym she took on after she was given new life by the Raven Queen. She has a real, secret name that I have not settled on. In the end, it doesn't matter because everyone she knew in her previous life is dead, and she traded the knowledge of her secret name to the spirit of the Feywild

some meta background is that she was played in a high level evil morally grey campaign (we're all babies and couldn't commit to actually being evil). she started as a level 6 shadow sorc/level 6 UA Raven Queen warlock.

Lamia's campaign wrapped up a couple of years ago but there's a lot more art of her that's rattling around in my brain and languishing in my WIP pile. i will absolutely post more about her! one day I would love to write it all up, with illustrations to go with each chapter!

Girl got fucking yoinked. Orin's pissy cause he can't intimidate her like he can with other humans. Charlotte either laughs at or challenges his threats and it always makes him back down because he dunno how to respond. He expects her to be scared but she just isn't. (He's just a bully who's actually a coward deep down who only picks on those smaller than him, so he genuinely has no idea how to react when the smaller people don't treat him like this big scary monster he wants to act like.)

I finally have a sheet for my naga/lamia OC, So'e Albertis.

She's just a shy witch who just wants to make potions with her familiar, a black cat named Hermes, out in the woods. Her human disguise, or elven disguise, is for when she takes said potions to market. While she isn't use to walking on two legs, at least she's not constantly getting her tail trampled. And No, unlike what quite a few of her kind are (in)famous for, she does not have a compelling gaze. Not that she would use it for anything but telling nosy people and snoops to go away.

I really felt like making some new Original Characters as minor background characters for the world I created, didn’t share much about it yet besides the main characters on my IG but I love how they turned out, so I wanted to share the first batch here as well ^^
