If you have your dog off-leash in a public park, you suck and you're a shitty, selfish, irresponsible pet owner and you should be ashamed. You're putting your dog at risk and you're putting other dogs and people at risk and you're ruining access and enjoyment of a PUBLIC space for other people because you're too fucking lazy to hold a piece of rope in your hand. PUT A LEASH ON YOUR DAMN DOG WHEN YOU'RE IN PUBLIC.

#for fuck's sake #this again #Lancelot has been dealing with a lot of anxiety in public places #so I take him to a park ON A LEASH #so I can walk him around at the periphery and he can observe and get treats #without feeling pressured to interact or get closer than he wants #and 4 minutes in #some fuckin' asshole's dog comes running up snarling and gets in his space pushing him around and growling when he tries to move away #and this lady comes sauntering slowly and casually over making the wimpiest half-assed attempts to call him (which he ignores completely)#and takes her sweet ass time to get there and pull him away #after which Lancelot is way over-stimulated and anxious for the whole rest of the time #so i drove all the way out there to give him a good experience and help build his confidence #and this piece of shit instead makes it a bad experience for him #and when we were heading out Lancelot starts barking again and I look and see HE IS OFF LEASH AGAIN #Yes i did yell and curse at them #which was maybe not the best choice but...#fuck I was so fucking angry
