I loved your Y/N divorced BatDad stories and headcanons And I would love to see a story where Y/N has a huge glow up after a few months since he got divorced and the reaction of the Batfamily and Bruce.PLEASE When writing can you please listen to the Bratz songs Keep It UP and My Attitude.I thought about this because during the stories, it would be interesting to see Y/N get her shine and life back.

Great, another fundraiser for Arkham Asylum because, of course, he hadn't been humiliated enough in front of you at this point. Most of the family was here this time. Only Jason wasn't here for obvious reasons. They were hovering around you constantly. You had been gone to the wind making it difficult to even keep track of you because of how often you were out of town.

Now he could see you from across the room and could admit sadly that the time away had been great for you. You were shining like the time he had met you when you were both in your twenties. He hadn't seen you smile with your whole face in such a long time. Damian and Dick had swept you away from the donators and were now likely telling you gossip that should not be said in public. You were laughing at whatever story Dick was telling you and you looked amazing.

Bruce found you handsome in every single form you took. Even in the later parts of your marriage, when the pressure of being with him had weighed on you and made you strained in every movement you made. You had stopped smiling with your whole face at that point. You had taken less care of yourself and spent months not getting your hair cut. The bags under your eyes had gotten worse and worse, and you were thinning out like you had lost more and more weight.

You looked better now. You had gained the weight back in the best possible places and to make you look healthy and filled out your suit pants in a way that would have had him pulling you off into a corner during a different time. The bags under your eyes were completely gone. You were sleeping more. That's good. Between the asylum and helping him with his night job, you slept less than you ever should have.

He felt his throat tighten a little. God, he had stolen something from you. Something that took away the way you smiled and laughed. Maybe it was good that you weren't together anymore. Maybe he was killing you.

I believe that there is a possibility of BatDad Reader and Bruce getting back together, but it would require changes to his and Bruce's lifestyles that I just don't think Bruce would ever do.

I hope it comes across in the other fics I've written that I think Batdad and Bruce are like madly in love with each other. They work well together and for what its worth they do care deeply about eachother. The issue is that Bruce's unfaithfulness and complete and total dedication to his cause combined with BatDads tendency to forgive Bruce and not push him to be different and his own low self esteem create a situation where getting back together even though they love eachother is just not a good idea.

I also believe that a large part of them staying divorced is that BatDad has begun to take the steps to center himself in his own life and I think getting back with Bruce would require Bruce to go to therapy or BatDad to stop going and start putting his wants on the back burner again.

Bruce is a very haunted man and often we see him needing the pain he has to be expelled through violent means. I think the idea that this drive that has caused him to save so many people has damaged his personal relationships so badly never really hits him as something that needs to change. He has also spent so much of his life using Batman as a way of coping and he does not seem self aware enough to recon with what it would mean to cope better.

That's not to even mention his infadelity that I believe are caused by a number of issues the first being that Bruce enjoys the dangerous aspect of his job and life and the people he cheats on you with all give him that satisfaction. He's such a control freak that he sort of tries his hardest to corral your life and relationships while going after any person who gives him the rush of instability you just don't.

(I do want to write some headcannons about Bruce and BatDad while they were in a relationship because I think to a degree we see him being a bit possesive and constantly scared of you cheating and he tries to control that aspect of your life)

I could see a world in which Bruce decides that his behavior is taking from him everything that makes life worth living. I could see him deciding that the behaviors that pushed you away have gone on for too long and he needs to be different and then him drawing you back in as he changes and gets better.

Though I could also imagine him telling you to come back and saying that he will change only to not do that and you either permanetly cut him off or you just completly collapse in on yourself in the relationship and pretend like his actions don't hurt you.

Through all of this though he is completly obssesed with replaying your relationship and going over it with a fine tooth comb. He looks for every breaking point and every instance that proved that you were pulling away from him. He also invades your privacy. A lot. I think he actual bursts a blood vessel if you start dating again.

I lowkey really need to know more about ex-BatDad reader and the new guy he was flirting with at the gala, how would you establish a relationship between ex-BatDad reader and his new boyfriend? and I’m curious how the bat kids would react to this newfound relationship, love your work (feel free to ignore)

It took me a while to get to this request I'm so sorry. Also, I kinda love the idea of BatDad reader attracting nothing but hyper competent men who are obsessed with him, so I guess this is a continuation of Price x BatDad

"So that was your ex-husband." Oh, for a second, you had forgotten that you were in John's arms. He had pulled you closer when the yelling had started, nearly completely on instinct.

"Yeah, Bruce must have had an accident." You felt his entire chest rumble with the laugh he let out.

"An accident, the man was trying to glare a hole into my skull. I think he mistakes that glass for my neck." You felt a smile grace your lips as you tried not to laugh with him. You lightly swatted at his arm still wrapped firmly around you.

"Don't be an ass he isn't taking th divorce as well as I have."

"You don't say."

"John, please."

"I'm sorry. I'll stop making fun of your ex-husband."

"Thank you."

You and John have only been together for about a month. You hadn't really expected the one-night stand you both had to extend into a burgeoning relationship. You hadn't felt this bubbly in years. John had a way of making you feel like you were the center of every room you stepped into.

"Lete forget about Bruce yeah, I've gotta get more money out of there rich assholes for the asylum." A smirk found itself on your face, and you could see John trying not to let a smile slip.

"Yeah, come on, let's go let you do your thing." His hands moved from your waist to your hand as he dragged you back into the fray of the event.

Shout out to the girls for not allowing Bruce's bullshit to prosper. I do believe that to a degree the girls have a level of seperation that makes the toxicity of Bruce and the reader relationship a lot more obvious.
