His mother tried to kill him by driving the car he was in with her into water.

See's right through some of Cartman and the others plots, and steals credit for their successes or attempts to use him as a scapegoat, making profit off it for himself in the end.

In order to cope with what's happened to him. He makes up and will act out or roleplay a character. So maybe he does have something with dissociation.

After his parents abandoned him during covid and never came back, over the next sixteen years his sanity slipped and now he just, pretends his parents are their retroactively, because otherwise he would go unchecked, and he knows what he's capable of at his fullest power and unpredictable, chaotic (horrifying) core nature is at the end of the day. He's not ready for that though.
