Dokpesi’s N5bn libel suit adjourned until September 23

The defamation suit filed by Raymond Dokpesi agasint immediate past minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed and former Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has been adjourned by an FCT high court till September 23 2019. Dokpesi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and chairman of DAAR Communications Plc, filed the suit on April 30, seeking N5 billion in damages from Mohammed and Malami. He alleged that Mohammed and Malami defamed his character by the inclusion of his name on the treasury looters’ list. At the continuation of trial, counsel to the claimant, Ngige Kasiemobi, informed the court that the defence counsel served him with a statement of defence and a motion for extension of time on Monday. Kasiemobi prayed for a short adjournment to enable him respond to the statement of defence. Justice Olukayode Adeniyi adjourned the case until September 23 for the continuation of hearing, at the instance of Kasiemobi, who stood in for Mike Ozekhome, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and counsel to Dokpesi. Dokpesi filed a suit on April 30, seeking N5 billion damages from Mohammed and Malami. Dokpesi, besides the N5 billion damages, is also asking the court to order the defendants to publish a full retraction of the said publication. He further asked the court to order the defendants to tender an unreserved apology to him, in all the major electronic and print media outlets in the country. He also urged the court to grant a perpetual injunction restraining the defendants, their servants, agents, partners, representatives, from further writing, publishing defamatory words about the plaintiff. the raven cycle author she basically went on a rant on twitter about how people keep messaging her about a halsey song that they thought fit a scene really well and she apparently didn’t agree and said a bunch of stuff like “how Can i explain this so you understand” “how do I make this twitter appropriate” “the stick she’s talking about is not a camaro stick so it doesn’t relate” “those lines are hyperbole” and “why don’t you have mothers to explain this to you” and then when people said she was being condescending to her VERY TEEN FANBASE she said “just unfollow me :)”

Ok re: Amy's expression in the promo, I think jake maybe saw Sophia again and so Charles is excited and Amy is disappointed. Imo her expression is very subdued, like she's trying to hide her feelings. So idk if jake is talking about their kiss. Also because I don't think it's really in jakes character to tell Boyle in front of Amy without her permission. But those are just my thoughts!! Also the scene with Boyle could come before the kiss so idk

Hm - I like your speculation. The only problem with Sophia is that Eva Longoria signed on to do three episodes. If Jake were to have seen Sophia, it would be off-screen. 

I agree that Amy looks like she’s trying to hide her disappointment. I watched a few more times and I really don’t think it has anything to do with what Boyle’s saying. She glancing to her left (where I’m assuming Jake is sitting), so I think she’s reacting to something he’s said. 

That’s true, we have no idea about the sequence of events. All we can do is speculate wildly over a very short clip from a 12-second promo video (maybe fruitless, but it’s all I can think about this week).
